2007 Movie of "Sweeney Todd" Trivia Quiz

Signor Adolfo Pirelli was the first murder victim of Sweeney Todd. He was also the creator of Pirelli's Miracle Elixir. Todd killed him because he remembered who Todd really was.
The part of Signor Adolfo Pirelli was played by Sacha Baron Cohen (who also played Borat). He sung the song "The Contest".

Anthony was the young man who rescued Todd from the ocean. He and Todd sung the first song which was entitled "No Place Like London". Anthony sang as if London was a beautiful place, while Todd sang as if it was a dark, evil place.
He fell in love with Johanna.

Answer: Mrs. Lovett

Helena Bonham Carter played the part of Mrs. Lovett. Mrs. Lovett was a widow. Her husband had died. In the beginning she told us that many people came to buy her meat pies, but as the years went on less and less people came into her pie shop, and as she said in "The Worst Pies In London", times were very hard.

Answer: Lucy

Mrs. Lovett told him that Lucy had poisoned herself after he had been sent away. Todd was very upset to hear this news. He said that all he wanted to do was to come home to a loving family - poor Todd.
Johanna was Todd's daughter. Jayne was the actress who played the part of Johanna. Mrs. Lovett was the meat pie maker who became Todd's partner.

Todd killed Pirelli right before Toby was coming to get him. Todd, not wanting to show Toby that he was a murderer, looked around and saw the chest. In a hurry, he opened it and stuffed the body into it. Todd then told Toby that Pirelli had left.

In the beginning of the movie, the narrator said that Benjamin Barker was a barber who had a loving wife and daughter, but then the Judge saw his wife and daughter and sent him away. Adolfo Pirelli was the first victim of Todd and a well-known barber. Todd killed him because he knew his real identity.

After Pirelli was killed, Todd hid the body in a chest in his room. Sweeney Todd was the name he came up with since he didn't want the people to know he had escaped and returned. Judge Turpin was the name of the Judge who sent him to the other side of the world and the man Todd really wanted to kill because he stole Todd's daughter.

Answer: Alan Rickman

Alan Rickman also played Professor Snape in the "Harry Potter" movies. Rickman and Depp sang a song called "Pretty Women". Johnny Depp played Sweeney Todd, who was "the demon barber of fleet street." Timothy Spall played Beadle, and Orlando Bloom was not in this movie even though he has worked with Johnny Depp before (in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies!)

Answer: Cockroaches

In the beginning when Todd first entered her shop, she was filling her pies with green stuff. Then you saw the cockroaches spill onto the floor and crawl around. Some were in the actual pies, and some were on the table. Todd said nothing about this, but he did take a bite of a pie and then spit it out.

Answer: Lucy

Lucy was also Todd's wife. He killed her after she entered his shop at the end of the movie. When he killed the Judge, he followed the bodies down to the basement. Then he saw that the woman he had murdered was Lucy. Mrs. Lovett then tried to explain that she never told Todd that Lucy killed herself, but that she poisoned herself. Todd then started to dance with Mrs. Lovett and threw her into the furnace, where she died.

Answer: Toby

Toby had been hiding in the sewers. He had found out who Todd really was. He was very upset that Todd had killed Mrs. Lovett. When he approached Todd, he grabbed the razor that Todd had just used and put it to his throat. Todd accepted his death. Toby then slit Todd's throat.
