Answer: Murder by Death

"Murder by Death" was released in the United States in 1976. It told the story of several famous so-called detectives such as Sam Diamond, Charlie Wang, and Miss Marbles who were invited to solve the not yet committed murder of a reclusive millionaire. This spoof starred Sir Alec Guiness, Peter Falk, Peter Sellers, and Truman Capote.

Answer: Death to Smoochy

Robin starred as Rainbow Randolph, a children's show host, who was replaced by a much younger and capable host, Smoochy. played by Edward Norton. Randolph became obsessed with Smoochy's new fame and plotted unsuccessfully to kill him off. This film also starred Catherine Keener, Pam Ferris, and Harvey Fierstein. Danny DeVito also starred and directed this 2002 black comedy.

This film won the Academy Award in 1993 for Best Visual Effects and Meryl Streep also received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Comedy/Musical.

Powers Boothe, Ross Malinger, and Raymond J. Berry co-starred with Van Damme in this action flick from 1995.

This movie was loosely based upon the true story of Frances Toto's multiple attempts to kill her cheating husband which were all unsuccessful. This all-star cast included Kevin Kline, Tracy Ullman, Keanu Reeves, William Hurt, and River Phoenix. This film was also where real-life husband and wife, Kevin Kline and Phoebe Cates, met.

When this film was originally released in 2007, it was released under the name "Grindhouse" along with Robert Rodriguez's "Planet Terror". Film makers made the decision to split the films up and release them as individual films.
