Jean Claude's character was a fireman who had gotten a bad rap and taken a security job for an NHL team. He thought it would be a good idea to take his son to see the game, but he chose a bad night, because a group of terrorists had set out to kidnap the Vice President of the United States. Powers Boothe, Ross Malinger, and Raymond J. Berry co-starred with Van Damme in this action flick from 1995.

When this film was originally released in 2007, it was released under the name "Grindhouse" along with Robert Rodriguez's "Planet Terror". Film makers made the decision to split the films up and release them as individual films.

"Traces of Death" was another film that focused on real-life situations and archived stock footage.
