The teens are killed by an intruder using a pick, a sword, and an axe. Trace Cooper plays the child, Ed Junior, who killed his mother. Matt Miter plays the teen-aged Ed Junior.

This film was released in an R Rated version and a more extreme unrated version. This film was released in 1984.

Answer: Slime City

A student moving into a trashy New York apartment complex meets a prostitute. She curses him to turn into a homicidal monster. This happens whenever he consumes dairy products like yogurt, which slowly liquefies him. Robert Sabin plays Alex. Eva Lee plays the prostitute. If you don't mind a little slime mixed with gore, you'll eat this 1989 release up.

A sequel was released in 2010, "Slime City Massacre".

Answer: The Prey

A group of campers fall victim to an inhuman mutated man, whose motive is affection he's seeking. He uses an axe to cut into his victims. This film is set in the forest at night, and emits a creepy atmosphere right off the bat. Jackie Cogan, Uncle Fester on "The Addams Family", shows up in a brief role as a cop investigating the murders. Nature freaks will get off on the abundant footage of creepy crawlies.

Answer: The Forest

The "daddy" in this case is a backwoods dweller with an appetite for human flesh. A group of teens camping in these woods fall prey to him. The ghosts of his past victims aid the surviving teens. They help the teens destroy the madman. Gary Kent plays the cannibalistic maniac.

This film is quite slow at times. The forest scenery dominates a good chunk of the movie. This film was released in 1984.

Answer: Uninvited

A gangster invites a group of people for a cruise on his yacht. A mutant feline escapes from a science lab and attacks the passengers on the yacht. Alex Cord plays Walter Graham, the gangster. George Kennedy plays Mike Harvey, Walter's assistant. Shari Shattuck plays Suzanne, one of the passengers. This cheesy film from 1988 is a lot of fun, and the veteran actors ham it up.

Answer: The Rejuvenator

An actress, due to her age, hires a scientist working on an elixir for everlasting beauty. This elixir has dangerous side effects. Besides utilizing fluids from a human brain, it turns her into a ferocious beast. Vivian Lank portrays Elizabeth Warren, the aging actress and the creature. John MacKay plays the scientist.

This film is a remake of "The Wasp Woman" without the wasp. This 1988 film keeps your interest and has gooey creature effects.

A high school nerd tries out a cursed potion on himself. It turns him into an evil, bloodthirsty monster. He goes after everyone that picked on him at the high school he's attending. The formula for this potion slowly kills him. Pat Cardi plays Vernon Potts, the fate driven nerd. This drive-in feature from 1974 was released to DVD in 2010.

Answer: The Demon

A hooded figure stalks and murders the citizens of a town. He only acts at night. He's discovered to have no motive for this. He uses a glove with claws attached to commit these acts of terror. A psychic investigates the kidnapping of a couple's daughter.

The masked intruder is going through the town after victims as he investigates. Cameron Mitchell is featured as Colonel Bill Carson, the psychic. The director was obviously influenced by "Halloween". This film was released in 1979.

Answer: Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare

The hair metal band Triton moves to a possessed farm. As they rehearse, their noises raise various demons from hell. The creatures slaughter the members of the band one by one. John Triton, the lead singer, holds the key to sending these demons back to hell. Jon Mikl Thor plays John Triton, the lead singer.

This film was released in 1987, and was shown on TV as "The Edge of Hell". The battle between Triton and a monster has to be seen to be believed!
