"Gambler" is one of Madonna's early tunes that manifests her danceable side. It is also one of the rare songs Madonna wrote on her own. She wrote a lot of her early tunes such as "Lucky Star" on her own. Madonna co-wrote and co-produced the majority of her hit songs throughout her long, distinguished career. "Gambler" is from the 1985 motion picture "Vision Quest", which starred Matthew Modine and which Madonna has a cameo in, as a club singer. Fortunately for Sean, he was able to redeem himself from that period as he continued to give a myriad brilliant performances in movies and won an Academy Award. Sean still does cause controversy nowadays with his political viewpoints, but it seems like the public has finally recognized him more as a great actor, writer, and director than as being Madonna's former husband.

This was Madonna's first appearance as a guest on a talk show. She mentioned she worked at Arby's when the legendary talk show host asked Madonna what life was like for her as a teenager. In terms of talk show appearances, many people remember the one in 1994 with David Letterman when Madonna blared out profanity.

But her only appearance with Carson in 1987 is interesting and one Madonna fans would want to remember instead.

Even though Jay has made fun of Madonna a myriad of times in his monologues, he did seem nervous by her presence.

Rosie sang with different lyrics while Arsenio's band was playing the melody to "Vogue". She and Madonna were promoting "A League Of Their Own", in which they starred.
