Answer: The Who

The Who's classic line-up was: Pete Townsend, guitar; Roger Daltry, vocals; John Entwistle, bass and the inimitable Keith Moon on drums.
Keith died in 1978 and John died in 2002.
2. A talented trio from the 1960s comprised Eric, Jack and Ginger. Which band was this?

Answer: Cream

Often dubbed the first 'supergroup', Cream's line-up was Eric Clapton on guitar, Jack Bruce on bass and Ginger Baker on drums. Eric and Jack shared the vocals.

Answer: Led Zeppelin

Led Zeppelin sold shedloads of albums but never had a hit single in the UK. The line-up (in case you didn't know!) was Robert Plant on vocals, Jimmy Page, guitars; John Paul Jones, bass and John Bonham on drums.

Answer: Radiohead

Radiohead's albums "The Bends" and "OK Computer" sold millions around the world and usually feature somewhere near the top on 'Greatest Album' lists. The line-up usually comprised Thom Yorke on vocals and guitar, Jonny Greenwood, guitar; Ed O'Brien, guitar and vocal; Colin Greenwood, bass and Phil Selway on drums.

Answer: The Small Faces

The Small Faces line up was: Steve Marriott on guitar and vocals, Ronnie Lane on bass, Ian McLagan on keyboards and Kenney Jones on drums. Steve Marriott went on to form Humble Pie, the other three stayed together to form the nucleus of The Faces along with Rod Stewart. Kenney Jones was later to become Keith Moon's replacement in The Who.
