Over the years, London has produced bands and singers in all types of genres. From the 1960s we had Rock bands like The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Small Faces, and Deep Purple. From the 1970s we had solo artists like Joe Cocker, Peter Gabriel, Peter Frampton and Phil Collins. The 1980s we saw Erasure, Blancmange, Bronski Beat and The Pet Shop Boys.
