Answer: Barenaked Ladies

Barenaked Ladies are a Canadian rock band that were formed in 1998 in Scarborough, Ontario. Their 1998 single "One Week" plays at the start of the Stifler's house party scene, as the camera follows Stifler (played by Seann William Scott) round his house and we see him offend person after person in his own inimitable style.

It also plays right at the end of the movie, as we see Jim (played by Jason Biggs) performing a webcam striptease for Nadia (played by Shannon Elizabeth) in his bedroom, just before the end credits roll.
2. "At Last"

Answer: Etta James

Known as "The Matriarch of R&B", Jamesetta Hawkins (professionally known as Etta James) was born on 25th January 1938. Her 1961 version of Mack Gordon and Harry Warren's "At Last" plays during the Stifler's house party scene as Jim plucks up the courage to go and talk to his dream woman, Nadia, but ends up walking into a table, and making a fool of himself before saying "see you later" and walking off in shame.
3. "Flagpole Sitta"

American alternative rock band Harvey Danger were formed in Seattle in 1992. Released as the lead single from the debut album "Where Have All the Merrymakers Gone?", their 1998 single "Flagpole Sitta" brought the band to prominence. It plays in the movie immediately after the four main protagonists have made a pact to lose their virginities by prom, and we see scenes of them all following different plans to achieve their goal!
4. "Celebrity Skin"

Fronted by the charismatic Courtney Love, Hole was an American alternative rock band founded in Los Angeles in 1989. Their 1998 single "Celebrity Skin" plays as we see Kevin (played by Thomas Ian Nicholas) using what he has learned from the sex manual that his older brother told him about to good effect on his girlfriend Vicky (played by Tara Reid).
5. "Mutt"

American rock band Blink-182 were formed in Poway, California in 1992. Their most well-known line-up consisted of Mark Hoppus (vocals and bass), Tom Delonge (vocals and guitar), and Travis Barker (drums). The song "Mutt" was included on their third studio album "Enema of the State" but was never released as a single.

It plays in the movie as Jim runs from his house to Kevin's house to watch Nadia get undressed on the webcam that Jim has set up in his bedroom.
6. "Following A Star"

Duke Daniels is a country rock band from southern California that is led by singer-songwriter Dan Clark. Their single "Following A Star" is taken from their 1998 album "Help Is On The Way", and plays as we see the main characters in the movie getting ready for prom.

American singer-songwriter Loni Rose has provided songs for the soundtracks of numerous movies and TV shows. Her ballad "I Never Thought You Would Come" plays as Chris "Oz" Ostreicher (played by Chris Klein) has a heart-to-heart with Heather (played by Mena Suvari) after prom, and they share their first passionate kiss.

Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel are one of the most prolific and successful song-writing duos of all-time. They originally worked together between 1956 and 1970, but have had multiple reunions since. Their 1968 single "Mrs. Robinson" plays as Paul Finch (played by Eddie Kaye Thomas) gets acquainted with Stifler's Mum (played by Jennifer Coolidge) in the basement of Stifler's lake house during the post-prom party.
10. "Semi-Charmed Life"

American rock band Third Eye Blind were formed in San Francisco in 1993, and released their self-titled debut album in 1997. Perhaps their most well-known song, "Semi-Charmed Life" was the lead single from this album, and it plays at the end of the movie as Jim, Kevin, Oz, and Finch are enjoying a snack and chatting about their post-prom experiences at their favourite hang-out, Dog Years.
