1. The original members of the band all hailed from what U.S. city?

Answer: Oklahoma City

Okay, so that was an easy one. This fact makes them easily some of the finest rockers OKC has ever produced.
2. Who does not appear with Wayne Coyne in the HP commercial released in November 2002?

Answer: William Shatner

3. What is the name of the Flaming Lips song that required a warning to be placed on the album it was released on?

Answer: How Will We Know? (Futuristic Crashendos)

It had nothing to do with the lyrical content of the song- instead, it was the actual sound which necessitated the waring. This song uses high and low frequencies played at the same time which can cause a person to become dizzy, disoriented, and sometimes sick. The album has a warning on it describing what may happen when listening to this song.
4. True or False: Wayne has been the lead singer on all of The Flaming Lips' releases prior to "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" (2002)

Answer: False

Wayne's brother Mark sings the lead on the Flaming Lips' first release, "The Flaming Lips", circa 1984. Apparently he left the band to get married and lead a normal life.
5. What were the "Parking Lot Experiments"?

Answer: Tape decks of 50 or so cars each playing different sounds at the same time

Wayne would synchronize the tape decks of 50 or so cars in underground parking garages so that they would all play different noises or sounds and create a symphony of sound. These experiments were held circa 1996-1997. This led Wayne to develop more experiments with multiple sources, and the eventual four discs at the same time as the album "Zaireeka".
