Answer: Year unknown

There has always been discussions and disagreements regarding Annes year of birth. Guesses range from 1499-1507 but most scholars choose between 1501 or 1507. The date 1501 is the most favoured and is supported by an example of Anne's handwriting done in 1514. I guess though it's just one of those things we will never know!

Answer: Mary and George

Mary and George, and of course. There are debates as to who was the eldest of the three!

Answer: A double nail and a large Adams apple

It is reported by one of her more friendly biographers - George Wyatt grandson of Thomas Wyatt - that she had a double nail and a large adams apple 'like a man's'. Despite these alleged imperfections she was still considered to be attractive.

She was charged with adultery with Master Mark Smeaton, Sir Francis Weston, Sir Henry Norris and Willam Brereton, and incest with her brother George. The charge of high treason was for Anne's suspected conspiracy with some of her lovers to murder the king, an allegation that also lacked any supporting evidence.
8. How was Anne executed?

Answer: By a sword

Henry almost had her burnt at the stake, then changed his mind and allowed her to be beheaded instead. He even allowed her to be executed with a sword rather than an axe, and gave her a choice in who would perform the deed. Anne chose a French executioner who was said to be very skilled. Little comfort, I'm sure!
9. Where is Anne buried?

Answer: In the chapel of St Peter ad Vincula

Anne never had a coffin provided for her by Henry. Her body and head were placed in an chest and buried in an unmarked grave in the chapel of St Peter and Vincula. During a thorough restoration of the chapel in the 19th century her body was identified and the place was then marked on the floor.
10. Jane Seymour was the next of Henry VIII's queens. When did they marry?

Answer: 30 May 1536

Henry became betrothed to Jane on 20 May 1536, the day after Anne's execution, and married her on 30 May. Jane was publicly proclaimed as queen on 4 June. Prince Edward was born on 12 October 1537.
