Answer: 1902

17th June, 1902, was the birth of Norwich City Football Club. Their first competitive game played saw the team lose 5-0 to Lowestoft Town in an FA Cup preliminary round, 3 months later.
2. Where did the club first play their home games?

Answer: Newmarket Road

Norwich played at Newmarket Road from 1902-08, and The Nest between 1908-35, until they moved into Carrow Road.
3. Who was the club's first manager in their history?

Answer: John Bowman

Bowman managed the club between 1905-07, followed by McEwen and Turner each for just one season, until Stansfield took over in 1910, where he would stay until 1915. Norwich have had many high profile managers in their history, including John Bond, Mike Walker, Bruce Rioch and Martin O'Neill.
4. Which of the following played the most League games for the club?

Answer: Ron Ashman

Ashman played 592 League games for Norwich between 1947-64. Sutton made a total of 103 appearances. Gunn kept goal for 391 League games, and Bowen played 321 times for the club.

Huckerby began his career at Lincoln City in 1993, where he stayed for two seasons before moving to Newcastle for a year. A month's loan at Millwall preceded three years at Coventry City between 1996-99 when he signed for Leeds. Just a year later, Manchester City snapped him up, where he played for three seasons. Huckerby had loan spells at Nottingham Forest then Norwich before signing permanently in 2003.

Sutton's spell at Norwich lasted between 1989-94, before he signed for Blackburn Rovers. In his final season for the Canaries, he was the Premiership's top goalscorer with 25 League goals. Sutton has scored plenty of goals for whoever he's played for, including Blackburn and Glasgow Celtic.

Norwich thrashed Coventry 10-2 in a Division 3 South game in 1930. A 2-10 defeat at the hands of Swindon Town in 1908 set the record for their heaviest loss.

Answer: 1992-93

Norwich played in the inaugural Premier League season of 1992-93, and finished a well respective 3rd place. Just two seasons later they were relegated, and didn't bounce back to the top flight until the 2004-05 season, where they were sent straight back down.

Answer: Manchester United

The 2-0 win against Manchester United was the jewel of Norwich's season. The other victories came against Southampton, Bolton Wanderers, West Bromwich Albion, Newcastle United, Charlton Athletic, and Birmingham City.
