1. Michael Jordan

Answer: 23

Arguably the greatest player of all time, Michael Jordan played 15 total seasons in the NBA. Jordan was the National College Player of the Year in 1984 with the North Carolina Tar Heels, and was selected as the NBA Rookie of the Year in 1985. During his 15 NBA seasons, Jordan was a 14-time All-Star selection, and a 6-time NBA Champion, winning Finals MVP each time.

He was a two-time gold medal winner in the Olympics with the United States, and finished his career with over 32,000 points, helped by 10 NBA scoring titles. Jordan's number 23 was retired by Chicago in 1994.
2. Draymond Green

Green was drafted 35th overall by the Golden State Warriors in the 2012 NBA Draft. Green helped lead the Warriors to four NBA titles over an eight year span from 2014-2022. Green also won back-to-back gold medals for the United States men's basketball team in 2016 and 2020.
3. Marcus Camby

Answer: 23

After declaring for the NBA after his junior season at UMass, Camby was drafted second overall in the 1996 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors. Camby played 17 seasons in the NBA for six different teams. Playing center in the NBA, Camby led the league in blocks four times, one of those four also being named Defensive Player of the Year.

He racked up over 9,000 each in both points and rebounds, and over 2,000 career blocks.
4. Blake Griffin

Blake Griffin was drafted number one overall in the 2009 NBA draft out of Oklahoma by the Los Angeles Clippers. In 2011, Griffin won the Slam Dunk Contest during All-Star weekend, and was named Rookie of the Year at the end of the season. He was also selected to five consecutive All-Star games from 2011-2015.
5. Frank Ramsey

Frank Ramsey was selected fifth overall in the first round of the 1953 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics. He was a 7-time NBA champion with the Celtics during his nine year playing career in Boston. His number 23 is one of several numbers retired by the Boston Celtics. Ramsey was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 1982.
6. Oscar Robertson

"The Big O" was drafted in 1960 by the Cincinnati Royals out of the University of Cincinnati. Robertson helped the Milwaukee Bucks win an NBA championship in 1971, and lead the United States Olympic team to a gold medal in the 1960 Olympics in Rome. Robertson was a 12-time All-Star and 3-time All-Star MVP.

He won league MVP in 1964, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1980. His number one jersey can never again be worn by a Milwaukee Bucks player.
7. Tracy McGrady

"T-Mac" was a bit of an NBA journeyman, playing for seven teams during his NBA tenure. Drafted out of high school in 1997, McGrady is a 7-time All-Star, and lead the NBA in scoring twice. He was also named the league's Most Improved player in 2001. Finishing his career with over 18,000 points, over 5,000 rebounds and more than 4,000 assists, McGrady was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2017.
8. Penny Hardaway

Hardaway was drafted out of Memphis by Golden State in 1993, but was traded to the Orlando Magic before making his debut. He was a 4-time All-Star with Orlando, and was a gold medalist for Team USA in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Hardaway finished his career with over 10,000 career points.
9. Devin Booker

Booker was drafted by the Phoenix Suns 13th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft. Booker was selected to three straight All-Star games between 2020 and 2022, and was the Three Point contest winner in 2018, his only appearance that weekend. He also won gold in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
10. Chauncey Billups

Chauncey Billups played 17 seasons in the NBA after being drafted in 1997 by the Boston Celtics. His most notable time on the court came with the Detroit Pistons, where he lead his team to an NBA title in 2004, and claiming Finals MVP. A 5-time All-Star, Billups had his jersey number one retired by Detroit in 2016.
11. Grant Hill

Grant Hill was drafted third overall by the Detroit Pistons in 1994. Hill played for four NBA teams before his retirement in 2013. He was named Co-Rookie of the Year in 1994, sharing the honor with Jason Kidd of the Dallas Mavericks. He was a 7-time All-Star, and finished his playing career with 17,000 points and a gold medal from the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Hill was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2018.
12. Patrick Ewing

Drafted first overall in 1985 by the New York Knicks, Patrick Ewing played the bulk of his NBA career with the team that drafted him. The seven-foot tall center was selected to 11 All-Star Games, the first of which came his rookie year in 1986 where he was also named Rookie of the Year. Ewing was also a two-time Olympic gold medalist for Team USA, claiming gold in the 1984 Games in L.A. and the 1992 Games in Barcelona, as a member of the "Dream Team." After finishing his career in Orlando, Ewing was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2008.

The New York Knicks retired Ewing's number 33 in 2003.
13. Larry Bird

Larry Bird was drafted sixth overall by the Celtics in 1978. He played his entire 13 year career in Boston, helping the Celtics win three NBA championships, two of which he took home Finals MVP. He was named League MVP for three straight seasons from 1984 to 1986, and was selected to a dozen All-Star games. Bird was the 1980 Rookie of the Year, a three-time Three Point contest champion, and was a member of the 1992 "Dream Team" that won gold at the Barcelona Olympics.

A Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, Bird's number 33 was retired by the Boston Celtics.
14. Alonzo Mourning

Alonzo Mourning was drafted second overall by the Charlotte Hornets in the 1992 NBA Draft. He played for three teams in his career, most notably two separate stints with the Miami Heat, where he won an NBA title in 2006. He was also selected to seven NBA All-Star Games, and was a gold medal winner for Team USA in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.

After being the first Miami Heat player to have his number retired in 2009, Mourning was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2014.
15. Scottie Pippen

Scottie Pippen was drafted fifth overall in the 1987 Draft by the Seattle SuperSonics. He was traded to the Chicago Bulls before making his debut, and played the majority of his career with the Bulls. Most notably, Pippen is known for playing alongside Michael Jordan and helping the Bulls win 6 NBA titles between 1991 and 1998.

Pippen was a 7-time All-Star, winning All-Star MVP in 1994, and lead the NBA in steals the following season. Pippen was also a member of the 1992 "Dream Team" in Barcelona, also winning gold the following Olympics in Atlanta. In both 1992 and 1996, Pippen took home the NBA championship, and an Olympic gold. His number 33 was retired by the Chicago Bulls in 2005, and Pippen was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010, both as a player, and as a member of the "Dream Team."
16. John Stockton

Drafted 16th overall in 1984, John Stockton played 19 years in the NBA, all of them with the Utah Jazz. Stockton lead his team to the post season in each of his 19 years in the league, but the Jazz never won a title during that span. Stockton was a ten-time All-Star, and lead the NBA in assists for nine straight seasons.

In 1992, he also lead the league in steals, and was a member of the 1992 gold medal team in the Barcelona Olympics. He also won gold in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Upon his retirement, Stockton held the NBA record for most career assists with 15,806. Stockton was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2009.
17. Pat Riley

Pat Riley was drafted seventh overall in 1967 by the San Diego Rockets. He won six titles as a coach; one as an assistant and five as head coach. Riley also won one title as a player in 1972 with the Los Angeles Lakers. He also coached in nine All-Star games. A 3-time Coach of the Year winner, Riley was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2008.
18. Vlade Divac

Vlade Divac was drafted by the L.A. Lakers in 1989 and spent several years playing in the NBA, most notably with the Sacramento Kings. Divac was a member of the 1990 All Rookie First Team, and an All-Star in 2001. He is also a 2-time silver medalist with Yugoslavia in the 1988 and 1996 Olympic Games. Divac finished his NBA and International playing career with 13,398 points and nearly 10,000 rebounds.
19. Dwight Howard

Dwight Howard was drafted out of high school first overall in 2004 by the Orlando Magic. Howard had nine separate stints with seven different NBA teams during his time in the league. He won a title in 2020 with the L.A. Lakers, and was selected to eight NBA All-Star Games, all in consecutive seasons.

He lead the NBA in rebounds five times, and lead the league in blocks twice. Howard also won gold in Beijing at the 2008 Olympics.
20. Bruce Bowen

Bruce Bowen went undrafted in the 1993 draft, so his first professional playing days were not in the NBA. His first season playing in the NBA was 1997, when he played for both Miami and Boston. In 2001, Bowen was signed by the San Antonio Spurs where he played the rest of his career before retiring in 2009. During his Spurs tenure, Bowen was a 3-time champion, and a 5-time member of the league's All-Defensive First Team.

His number 12 was retired by the San Antonio Spurs in 2012.
