"The Hills" follows Lauren Conrad in the struggle to be successful in Los Angeles.

Answer: Heidi

They were best friends for two years until Heidi started dating Spencer and Lauren did not like Spencer at all. They managed to still talk to each other for a while but when a nasty rumor hit Lauren she knew exactly who spread it and decided to call off the friendship.
