Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who was selected as the "most trusted" player during the Rappel Lock game ?

Answer: Al

Heather went as far as to comment that Al was "playing for the team, and not for himself".
2. Which four players were selected to "hang out" during the Rappel Lock game?

Answer: Elavia, Bribs, Heather, Darwin

Both Darwin and Heather gave incorrect responses to Al during this game, causing Al to suspect both of them as trying to sabotage the game.
3. How much money could have been won during the Rappel Lock game?

Answer: $35,000

Because the players lost this game, speculation became rife that any of the players who had performed in the game could have sabotaged it. Rob suggested that Al could have easily just accepted an incorrect answer, knowing it would not be correct in figuring out the combination to open the chest containing the $35,000.
4. Which player was viewed as being annoying by his fellow players because of his constant nagging and asking of questions?

Answer: Patrick

Al was first to voice concerns over Patrick's agitating nagging. He said during a confession, "You think you're going into a regular conversation, and before you know it he's extracting information from you. It's like - give me a break..."
5. The players received a ________ welcoming them to Italy and acting as a possible clue.

Answer: telegram

Darwin read the clue aloud to the group; Patrick later said in a confessional that he was extremely curious as to why more players weren't more curious about the telegram, citing it as a "great bit of intelligence".
6. During a surprise Morality Game, the players had to stop two separate times and help women change their flat tires.

Answer: True

The players had to stop twice - once to help two very young women to change their tire, and another time to help a much older woman to change hers. Had the players only stopped to helped the young, attractive women, they would have failed the Morality Game.
7. Which players were picked to be the "dumb players" in the Dumb vs. Smart game?

Answer: Myra, Katie, Patrick

The "dumb players" accepted an offer to earn an exemption. If they could successfully pick five brain teasers that could stump the "smart players" (Dorothy, Bill and Rob), they would earn exemptions for themselves, but no money would go into the group pot. However, the "smart players" succeeded in their task, and were able to add a total of $50,000 into the pot.
8. Which word did Dorothy seemingly pull out of thin air in order to solve Brain Teaser #5?

Answer: Mistrustfulness

Dorothy received immense praise for solving this brain teaser. However, Katie and Myra deemed it as being incredibly suspect, as Dorothy seemed to have suddenly solved the puzzle at the very last minute. The "smart players" received exemptions for solving the brain teasers.
9. Which player found pages suddenly missing from her journal, and accused Patrick of tearing them out?

Answer: Katie

Patrick purposely violated the rules of the game by ripping pages out of Katie's journal in order to get information from it, and justified himself by saying that he would "lie, use guile, and deceit" in order to move forward in the game. Many players believed that Patrick had damaged his chances of winning, as no other players would want to give him any more information after seeing how low he would stoop to win.
10. _______ was the Mole's fourth victim, and was executed.

Answer: Patrick

The remaining players were thrilled to see Patrick executed, as he had earlier broken the rules by ripping pages out of Katie's journal (which was once his own journal); in doing so, the group was punished, and money was taken out of the total pot.
