Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What language were The Lone Gunmen speaking to one another when Scully and Morris arrived?

Answer: Spanish

Frohike, wearing a messy apron and looking quite the domestic, was serving huevos rancheros and the three were speaking a little Spanish.
2. What was the name of the aircraft that had crashed?

Answer: Aurora

The Lone Gunmen identified the data recorder as having come from the Aurora spy plane and explained to Scully that it was a "hypersonic reconnaissance aircraft fueled with slush-hydrogen." Morris started giggling, then revealed that he'd named the craft and had been debating between "Aurora" and "Borealis."
3. Who did Morris tell The Lone Gunmen didn't exist?

Answer: Saddam Hussein

One of the headlines on the newspaper read "Saddam Testing Mandroid Army in Iraqi Desert". Morris explained, "There is no Saddam Hussein. This guy's name is John Gillnitz. We found him doing dinner theater in Tulsa. Did a mean 'King and I'. Plays good ethnics. [...] I invented the guy. We set him up in '79.

He rattles his saber whenever we need a good distraction. Ah, if you boys only knew how many of your stories I dreamed up while sitting on the pot." At his mocking attitude, The Lone Gunmen started to get offended, and Scully encouraged them to focus on the data so they could fix Mulder.
4. What reported landmark did the three young adults stop at?

Answer: mailbox

The three 20 somethings approached the solitary white mailbox and the first one said it was "the black mailbox." His friend pointed out that it was white, but he replied, "No, they painted it white to hide it. This is the black mailbox. The best place to see Freedom Mountain and the UFOs over Dreamland, man."
5. When Scully and Mulder were talking in the desert, Morris told them to "take a picture; it'll last longer." Mulder replied, "If I _____ him, is that murder or suicide?"

Answer: shoot

Scully, clearly sympathizing with Mulder's frustration, replied, "Neither, if I do it first."
6. What did Mulder give Scully before she left him in the desert?

Answer: sunflower seeds

He gave her a handful of sunflower seeds, then took one back and put it in his mouth as she returned to the car with Morris.
7. What did Scully see that made her suspect the events were undoing themselves?

Answer: gas station

Driving down the road, Scully ordered Morris to stop the car. She got out and walked over to the gas station, which had been burnt to the ground two days prior, but the station and owner appeared healthy and intact.
8. What was Joanne struggling to get through the front door when Scully and Mulder drove up to the house?

Answer: recliner

From the front door, Joanne yelled at Mulder, "Morris! Don't forget your stupid chair! You and it should be very happy together!" When she saw Scully, she added, "You've got a lot of gall coming back here, sister! [...] You come here to watch my family fall apart? You getting some kind of big kick out of that?"
9. What story did Morris start with to convince Joanne he was her husband?

Answer: wedding

Seeing how unhappy Joanne was, Morris finally seemed to take pity on her. He walked up to the door and told her, "What he said about me being your husband - it's true. [...] We got married on June 13, 1978. It rained that day. You got mad at me at the reception because I said I couldn't see the cake behind your fat ass. Remember our first apartment, that dump in Pentagon City? You'd turn the air conditioner on and the lights would go out? Or when you were pregnant how I'd tickle your kneecaps to make you laugh? Remember? Remember the night Chrissy was born? When I held her in my arms all red-faced and screaming?" That seemed to convince Joanne, and she calmed down enough to hear what Scully and Mulder had to say.
10. What did Scully find in her desk drawer?

Answer: fused coins

She found the dime/penny combination that she'd picked up at the gas station. Because it hadn't been in the path when time-space snapped back, it had remained affected. Mulder was also seeing the effects of the lost time, finding his apartment transformed by Morris' stay.
