Zaterra was home for the species called Saurians, which are also known as Raptors. Saurians were reptilian creatures who could spit acid. Eventually Shao Kahn destroyed it and killed every Sauurian excluding Reptile, Chameleon and Khameleon.

Scorpion was an ordinary human before his death. His name was Hanzo Hasashi and he was a leader of clan called Shirai Ryu. Later he was killed by Sub Zero brothers. He was resurrected by Quan Chi in Netherrealm and it became his homeland since then.

Answer: Outworld

Bo' Rai Cho is originally from Outworld, but moved to Earthrealm and started training young warriors to participate in Mortal Kombat. He cannot enter into the tournament himself, because his victories will count on the side of Outworld, I don't why Shang Tsung's victories still count on Outworld's side as he is from Earthrealm.

They are Shokans, half dragons, half humans. Yes, they have four arms each, but they're not four-arms; it's not "Ben 10" you know.

He was the older Sub Zero, his name was Bi Han. He was killed by Scorpion as he thought he was the one who killed his family and clan. Later he knows that it was him and his brother who killed Scorpion, but the real killed of his family and clan was Quan Chi.

They were Cryomancers as well as Frost. They definitely were not Snowmen and they were only partly humans. Cryomancers can control the powers of ice and could survive in extremely cold environments, younger Sub Zero (Kuai Liang) learns that he is one of Cryomancers in "Mortal Kombat: Deception" when he wanted to bury Frost after she was frozen by Dragon Medallion and he found ruins which were the holy structure and belonged to lost race, Cryomancers.

He later learned that he and Frost were their descendents. Lin Kuei was the clan they were working in.

Answer: Heavens

He was born in the Heavens and was one of the Elder Gods, but he had chosen to protect Earthrealm and in order to do that he had to leave Heavens and he could not be an Elder God anymore. Nexus however was not a real world. It was a portal between the realms which was used in "Mortal Kombat: Deception".

Answer: Jade, Rain, Kitana, Tanya and Sindel

Jade, Rain, Kitana, Tanya and Sindel were the Edenians. Sindel was Edenia's queen, Kitana was princess, Rain was prince, Jade was an assassin and Tanya was an assassin as well. Jerod was the King of Edenia and ruled that beautiful world with his wife, Sindel.

They had daughter named Kitana and they were leaving peacefully. But Outworld's Emperor Shao Kahn entered Edenia to conquer it. His army's leader Baraka killed King Jerrod and Shao Kahn took Sindel as his wife and Kitana as his daughter. Kitana was a baby when that happened and believed that Shao Kahn was her true father. Sindel has committed suicide to stop Shao Kahn from invading the Earthrealm. Tanya is a daughter of Edenia's embassador to new realms.

She was working for most powerful and evil villains, like Shinnok and Onaga.

She is also an enemy of Jade and she was defeated by her in MK: Deception when Jade threw bottle with concentrated Tarkata's essence at her and Tarkatas instantly attacked her by thinking that she was a rival male. Rain was smuggled away from Edenia as a small child after Shao Kahn took over it. Thousands years later he chose to be loyal to Shao Kahn and chose to stay on his side rather than being killed by his extermination squads.

Answer: Vaeternus

Vaeternus is a Vampire realm. Vampire realm is a forgotten realm of vampires, which Shao Kahn merged with Outworld. Nitara was a female vampire who was first introduced in "Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance". A little known fact is Midway planned to make a male vampire for "Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance", but ran out of time.

Answer: Shinnok and Raiden

Shinnok is a fallen Elder God and Raiden was an Elder God, but he had to give up his title to protect Earthrealm. Damashi was never an Elder God, he was in fact Onaga. I don't know about Fujin, so I didn't include him in this question.
