Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Let's begin with a question about "Moscow". Now all of the cars have a fair chance of winning, but on the "Moscow" secret level there is one car that just cannot make it past the bridge jumps at all! Which car would this be?

Answer: Morgen

No matter how hard it tries, "Morgen" cannot complete those jumps! Another situation like this is if you were driving with either the cars "Ivanov" or "Baptiste" on the Scotland secret level. Their cars are way too slow (in the secret "Scotland" level only) to even place 6th!
2. There is a "Japan" level in this game.

Answer: True

There is, in fact, a secret "Japan" level! This level can be unlocked using a certain cheat code. The "Japan" level looks a lot like a speedway and the cars you can use are Sports & Indy. However, you can only race this track in split-screen.
3. What are the three different modes you can play in "Total Drivin'"?

Answer: One player, time attack, split-screen

The three modes available are one player, which is the normal racing, split-screen, which is racing with a friend, and time attack which is doing a lap and then a ghost of your car comes for the next lap and drives your best performance. The bad thing about split-screen is that for each location there are only two tracks to play.
4. I'm driving on "Easter Island" and I'm way ahead of all the other opponents. Hey look! It's the finish! Yes I'm gonna win, I'm gonna win! No! I finished the race, I placed first, but my car has gone into the water... looks like I've lost the race, right?

Answer: Yes

It is true that even if you finish, if your car ever goes too far in the water you will lose, and whomever arrives second will take first place. That is also the reason why if you push the cars into the water and finish the race you would finish first.
5. How do you access the options menu?

Answer: Select "?"

It is quite odd to name the options menu "?". Someone could mistake that for a secret mode or something! You can change the volume, controls, look at your fastest times and save & load data.
6. What is unusual about the "Press Start" screen (the first screen you see)?

Answer: It shows a Baptiste car of the sports class in Scotland

This is unusual because the only cars you drive in "Scotland" are Rally cars (the secret level has you driving buggies). You do have to press start to get to the main menu, there isn't any other car and it doesn't show "Morgen" in the picture.
7. What is changed from "Scotland 5" to "Scotland 6" (other than driving the other way)?

Answer: They added an extra stack of boulders

The extra stack of boulders are near the start when you go past the forest area (with the single path). The track is stormy, but the track was already stormy in "Scotland 5". The new path is driven from levels 4-6 and there are no logs in "Scotland" but "Switzerland" has them.
8. What happens if you get stuck somewhere in a race?

Answer: It depends

It really depends on where you get stuck. Getting stuck on top of something would result in a game over, while if you got stuck between something you might have to restart the race because sometimes the game over won't show up and you won't be able to move.
9. While all the Sports cars have their numbers like 1, 3, 4, etc, "Ahmed's" Sports car number is "06"?

Answer: True

Ahmed's Sports car is the only Sports car to have a 0 in front of the number, and in fact the only number to have a 0 in front out of any car! Ahmed's Sports car bears a resemblance to a Ferrari F40.
10. Which country does "Baptiste" represent?

Answer: Jamaica

"XU" represents China, "Lumiere" represents France and "Rossi" represents Italy. Also "Roberts", "Morgen", "Ivanov" and "Ahmed" represent England, America, Russia and Egypt.
