Very exciting game. Before the competition started I would have bet on Colombia and Poland to head this group but who knows now? It could well be Japan and Senegal. Yes Mix, before the game my money would have been on Poland, who usually have a decent team, if not world beaters. They will be aggrieved at first goal though, a deflection nobody could prevent.......and the second was a howler by goalkeeper. Left the Senegal player with freedom of park, from which he couldn't fail to score. Given the sheer physical size of the Senegal Team (did they have anyone under 6ft 5" tall?), Poland have done better to keep ball on ground as much as possible, as they were distinctly at a disadvantage with aerial balls. I think eventually they sussed this out...but too late, Entertaining game though, which I enjoyed......missed the Columbia v Japan clash due to "Vet Run" with cats! Lol Reply #188.
