England had more goal opportunities but didn't capitalise on them. The thing about England is that so many players seem capable of scoring. Croatia much better, tactically superior. It really told after halftime. I think Croatia needed to adapt to Sterling playing higher than they expected, after that I think they had it in hand and they had control over the midfield area as you would expect with their incredible midfield talent. I think if England had made the most of their chances in the first half, Croatia may not have been able to come back but equalising put heart into Croatia and they found their rhythm.
