Pulsars are formed after a star has gone supernova. They are neutron stars that spin rapidly and have incredibly strong magnetic fields. When observing pulsars using radio telescopes from Earth, pulsars will emit beams of radiation (pulses) at steady intervals.

Pulsars were discovered by Dame Susan Jocelyn Bell Burnell, an astrophysicist from Northern Ireland using the Mullard Radio Astronomy Observatory in Cambridge, England. In a bit of controversy, Jocelyn Bell Burnell's colleagues (Antony Hewish and Martin Ryle) were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1974 for the discovery, but Jocelyn Bell Burnell herself was not.

Answer: Moon

Moon Township can be found in Allegheny County in western Pennsylvania. It is about a twenty minute drive west of the city of Pittsburgh and is also the home of Pittsburgh's main international airport.
