Robbie Dupree was lucky enough to have his very first single on his debut album go to number six on the Billboard Hot 100. "Steal Away" brought back the feel of songs by Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald. The 1980 smash hit was followed up by the album's second single "Hot Rod Hearts" which also reached number 15.

The television show "Better Call Saul" used "Steal Away" in their third season.

"Back come back, any kind of fool could see...." was the start of the memorable chorus from the 1977 single by Player. Player was led by lead singer and guitarist Peter Beckett; it was their only major hit song. "Baby Come Back" was released on the RSO label and topped the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks in January of 1977.

The blue-eyed soul hit was covered Keith Urban in 2026 but Lisa Stansfield added a female perspective in her incredible cover in 1997.

Walter Egan's 1978 hit "Magnet And Steel" is the best known song of his career. The song was co-produced by Lindsey Buckingham and featured backing vocals by Lindsey and his Fleetwood Mac partner Stevie Nicks. Similar to the original song, Keith Urban teamed up Little Big Town for his cover of "Magnet And Steel". Like Fleetwood Mac, Little Big Town feature both male and female vocalists and have a similar harmony sound.

"Just The Two Of Us" was released on Grover Washington Jr.'s album "Winelight" and featured Bill Withers on vocals. "Just The Two Of Us" won the Grammy for Best R&B Song at the 24th Annual Grammy Awards. Grover Washington is a legend in the world of smooth jazz.

In addition to being a saxophone player, Grover was known for arranging and producing and introducing artists like Kenny G to the mainstream. He passed away in 1999.

Stephen Bishop is a singer/songwriter who brought us hits like "It Might Be You", "Separate Lives", "Say You Say Me", and his biggest hit "On and On". The latter song was released in the summer of 1977. The song has a tropical and easy groove and opened with the lyrics, "Down in Jamaica they got lots of pretty women, steal your money, then they break your heart".

Michael McDonald was not an original member of the Doobie Brothers. He was added to the group in 1975 after an illness to their original lead singer Tom Johnston. Then McDonald took the band in a new direction and Michael was the lead singer for classics like "What A Fool Believes", "Minute By Minute", and "Takin' It To The Streets". McDonald was the perfect choice to join Keith Urban for his throwback album to the Yacht Rock era.

Ambrosia may not be a household name of rock groups but they brought a number of big hits to the radio. "How Much I Feel", "Biggest Part of Me", "You're the Only Woman (You & I)", and "Holdin' on to Yesterday" were all part of Ambrosia's singles discography. The expression "as sweet as ambrosia" goes back to ancient Greece and the belief that ambrosia is a food for the Greek gods.

Answer: I'd Really Love To See You Tonight

Jim Seals and Dan Crofts gave us some of the most memorable soft rock hits of the early 1970s. In an ironic twist, the three songs listed - "Diamond Girl", "Summer Breeze", and "Get Closer" - all peaked at the same spot (number six) on the Billboard Hot 100.

The duo was known for its incredible harmony. They disbanded in 1981. The song "I'd Really Love To See You Tonight" was recorded by England Dan (Seals) and John Ford Coley. Dan Seals is the younger brother of Jim Seals.

Gino Vannelli was born on June 16, 1952, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In the United States he's known for his two huge hits, "I Just Want To Stop" and "Living Inside Myself" but he's had over twenty hits in Canada. Gino's name is Italian as his parents were from Italy but they moved to Canada. "I Just Want To Stop" was nominated for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at the Grammy Awards in 1979.

The Juno Awards are Canada's equivalent event to the Grammy Awards.

When you think about Keith Urban you probably think of him as the blonde haired country singer and guitarist originally from Australia. He did grow up in Australia but was born in New Zealand. It's fitting that Keith added an Australian band to his "Flow State" album of Yacht Rock covers.

The Little River Band released "Help Is On The Way" in 1977 and went to number one in Australia and reached number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
