Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The Scourge of the Wind Temple, Colgera, is responsible for which of these in the Hebra Region?

Answer: Blizzards

Link and Tulin, of the Rito tribe, will be tasked with locating the Wind Temple high above the Hebra Region and finding their way to the lair of this massive, dragon-like foe to save the Rito locals from the unending blizzard that it has wrought on this corner of Hyrule on Ganondorf's urging. To do this, they have to take to the sky in battle and strike the numerous weak points all over its underside, indicated by pink spots on an otherwise white/grey outer shell. Doing this three times will lead to a second phase where the boss fires off tornadoes, but hitting those spots again will bring the monster down and stop the blizzards.
2. Defeating Moragia will unlock the route to the Fire Temple, located is in which of these spots?

Answer: The Depths

Once Link frees Yunobo the Goron from his mind-controlling mask, the two of them will ascend Death Mountain to determine the cause of the regional phenomena only to discover that the crater has ben inhabited by a massive, marble-rock creature known as Moragia.

It'll take a combination of flying through the air (likely on the back of a glider) and firing Yunobo as a rolling projectile to smash through the creature's three heads and dodge oncoming lava rocks, but when it's finally brought down, it'll expose a chasm into the Depths and the route to the Lost City of Gorondia, the Fire Temple.
3. Marbled Gohma will drop marble rocks on Link in its battle arena, but what will these rocks do if left alone?

Answer: Explode

In the final chamber of the Fire Temple, Link and Yunobo will battle the Scourge of the Fire Temple, the Marbled Gohma, made of those irresistible marble rocks that the Gorons can't get enough of. While it ascends to the ceiling and climbs around, it'll drop massive boulders around Link in a circle, forcing him to break through them and detonate them to get clear shots with Yunobo, sending the Goron to the ceiling to knock the beast down.

While stunned on the ground, Link should be able to do damage to the Gohma's eye and, eventually, detonate the boss to close out the dungeon.
4. Which foe will be the first that Link will fight with Prince Sidon by his side?

Answer: Sludge-Like

When Link and Lady Yona finally convince Prince Sidon of the Zoras to tag along and determine the cause of the sludge flowing into the Lanayru Region, it'll be the perfect time for an unexpected ambush on Mipha Court. It'll compel the Zora Prince to give his power to Link, allowing the hero to protect himself in a spherical layer of water that will ward off the sludge and get him close enough to strike.

The Sludge-Like operates just like other Like-Likes, revealing its weak spot within on occasion and giving Link the chance to smash it.
5. Mucktorok will only emerge for his fight if Link does which of these things?

Answer: Douses it in water

Much of the issue in the Lanayru Region stems from this creature which Link and Prince Sidon can find in the main arena of the Water Temple, floating high above the Zora's Domain, and the only way to do anything about it is by using the temple's unique faucet system to fill a quintet of cisterns and wash away all of the sludge at once.

Once they can do this, Mucktorok will fight, transforming between its normal form and its Sludge Shark form, covering the floors in thick sludge, and sending out huge blasts in a two-part fight. Water is very effective in this fight, and so are slow, methodical shots from the bow (and any explosives you might be able to attach to your arrows).
6. The Queen Gibdo is susceptible to attacks of what type?

Answer: Lightning

The Scourge of the Lightning Temple, the Queen Gibdo's abilities are quite dangerous. In addition to creating the Sand Shroud that covers the region upon Link's arrival, the beast can also create massive hives from which Gibdos and Winged Gibdos, creatures with great physical resistance, will spawn and terrorize the local settlements. The way to defeat her (and the Gibdos) is with lightning, and fortunately, Riju, the soon-to-be Sage of Lightning, will be honing her skill in creating devastating lightning blasts.

You'll face Queen Gibdo twice-- once outside the Lightning Temple when you open it up for the first time, and once at the end of the dungeon in its uppermost chamber.
7. In the throne room of Hyrule Castle, Link will face Phantom Ganon for the first time. Phantom Ganon's description indicates that he's which of the following?

Answer: A saboteur

Referred to as 'The Demon King's Phantom Saboteur', Phantom Ganon is the enemy you encounter when you finally catch up to the uncanny version of Princess Zelda that's been showing up all around Hyrule, creating the Regional Phenomena that have been affecting the different towns and settlements of the land. There are five Phantom Ganon images that Link faces here, and while that may seem overwhelming, the four Sages collected to that point will arrive to help in the battle, mitigating some of the unwanted attention. The Phantom Ganons will also fight with Gloom weapons, meaning that this fight will come down to Link's proficiency in quick and effective combat.

These foes will reappear as Link closes in on Ganondorf, himself.
8. The Seized Construct is fought entirely while Link is on the back of what Sage?

Answer: Mineru

The Spirit Temple itself is quite small, acting as a burial site for the Zonai Sage of Spirit, but once Link descends into it on the back of Mineru's Construct, he'll be met by one of Mineru's former creations, a construct that has been captured and used for Ganondorf's evil means. The battle here will be held in what appears to be a massive boxing ring surrounded by thick, electrified barbed wire, and the goal is to knock the boss back into it over and over again, damaging it in hefty chunks. Link can use Mineru to stun the foe, and with enough hits, Mineru can blast it back into the sides.

Halfway through the battle, the Seized Construct will gain more abilities, but the tactic should remain the same. Agility is key to strike the boss while it hops around the arena, and then speed is necessary to get the hits in.

When the boss is destroyed, Mineru can claim the Sacred Stone.
9. In the battle against Demon King Ganondorf, which of these equippable items will not break?

Answer: Master Sword

When Link finally descends into Hyrule Castle Chasm and into Gloom's Lair, he'll be able to battle Demon King Ganondorf in the flesh, putting all of his best techniques and weapons into practice to keep the big boss at bay. If you've followed the adventure thus far, this should mean that you've collected the Master Sword from the Light Dragon floating around Hyrule.

While this weapon does diminish in power the more it's used out in the real world, the last battle is something special, allowing it to work with an enervated power that allows it to function without the need for recharging. All other weapons, bows, and armor will face the same breakability issue as in the rest of the game.
10. The final blow agains the Demon Dragon will be at which spot?

Answer: Its head

In a hail mary moment, Ganondorf will use his Sacred Stone to transform into a massive Demon Dragon, bringing the final battle out of the Depths and into the sky and forcing Link to battle in a new way. For this fight, Link has to use his Paraglider and the aid of the Light Dragon to float down onto the Demon Dragon's back, destroying four weak point nodules.

When this is done, the final weak point, the Sacred Stone, will appear on the Demon Dragon's forehead, and it will mean one last, dangerous descent onto the location to plunge your weapon into it and shatter the phylactery once and for all. Doing this will finish the adventure, destroying Ganondorf and saving Hyrule.
