Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Link will be directed to the Hebra Mountain Region to help the citizens of Rito Village. On which direction on the map can this be found?

Answer: Northwest

Although Link will be requested to investigate the goings-on in several different parts of Hyrule, all signs will seemingly point to the northwest, specifically to the Hebra Region, where the citizens of Rito Village seems to be encountering some odd goings-on.

It's a long ride there from Lookout Landing as it sends Link to one of the extremes of the map. Worse, as Link gets closer and closer to his destination, it'll become apparent that the land there will have changed; over time the region has snowed over with the climate of the Hebra Mountain moving southward. Link will need proper food or armor to withstand the cold if he wishes to proceed.
2. Penn is one of a few employees for which of these establishments located near Rito Village?

Answer: Lucky Clover Gazette

Before link leaves Lookout Landing he'll have the chance to run into Penn, one of the reporters for the Penn, Lucky Clover Gazette, who'll be working alongside Purah to locate Princess Zelda. It'll be just one more reason to head towards Hebra Mountain as it's very likely you'll arrive on the road leading to both the Gazette's headquarters and Rito Village, right at the point where the snow will start coming down. Penn'll be there alongside Traysi, the editor, when you arrive and you'll be commissioned to help on the Zelda story. Your first order of business will be to ask around at all of Hyrule's stables for any leads. Traysi will give over a set of Froggy Armor for your troubles.
3. The bridge to Rito Village will be out, but Link can fly from one side of the chasm to the other using which of these items on a fire, creating a gust of strong wind?

Answer: Hylian Pine Cone

Next to the Lucky Clover Gazette, the path will come across the old bridge to Rito Village but Link will discover that it's out, a result of the recent weather system. Getting across may appear tough, but locals will make a recommendation that placing a common Hylian Pine Cone on a fire will make a stronger flame. Doing this should grant you the breeze you need to paraglide over.

Rito Village is a bit quieter than it was in the past, partly because many of its citizens have left it behind, seeking regions with more tolerable conditions (especially for food and warmth). The new Elder, Teba, will still be there with his son, Tulin. Tulin will head off into the Hebra Mountains, stubbornly looking for solutions to stop the massive blizzard. It'll be the ideal prompt to send Link out into the wilds, and he can start by helping scavenge for food at the Hebra South Summit.
4. Tulin fights with which of these types of weapons?

Answer: Bow

Link will need to make his way up through the caverns within the Hebra Mountains and eventually locate Tulin who, as it turns out, isn't scavenging for food, but wathcing the storm from atop Talonto Peak. If Link manages to find him, he'll learn two things. First and foremost, Tulin believes that he saw Princess Zelda in the distance, buried in the storm before flying off into the sky. Secondly, it appears that a flying monster has taken his bow and taken off into the sky. If you can help Tulin retrieve it, then he'll help you out in kind.
5. It's revealed that Tulin is the only Rito capable of creating which of these at will?

Answer: Wind gusts

In addition to being an excellent marksman and flier, Tulin has the ability to create gusts of wind seemingly at will, allowing you to get a boost of speed in flight with your paraglider. When Tulin's aura is charged, he can create a stream of wind that blows straight forward. We will, then, need to recharge his ability for a short time before using it again.

When Link gets Tulin's bow back, Harth and Gesane will fly in and indicate that the only way to investigate the Princess Zelda sighting is by flying into the storm above. By their assessment, the only way in is through the top, and that'll require Link and Tulin, working together, to accomplish. That wind gust is going to come in handy!
6. Getting above the Rising Island Chain above Hebra Mountain will require Link to jump atop which of these, magically floating in the skies?

Answer: Boats

Once Tulin has the go-ahead, he and Link can head up into the Rising Island Chain above Hebra Mountain, spying boats in the sky where Tulin earlier spotted Zelda. The young Rito will be beckoned by a magical voice from the storm above and experience a vision of a massive structure in the clouds (circled by many smaller ones), and this will remind him of a Rito song from his youth, the 'Song of Stormwind Ark'.

They'll have no other recourse besides ascending further, and that means not only relying on wind gusts to cross massive gaps in the sky, but hop on top of ship-drawn trampolines, launching Link higher and higher.
7. Stormwind Ark, as is discovered, is actually which of the following?

Answer: A warship

If Link and Tulin can get high enough into the sky (and brave the cold), they'll manage to get up and over the blizzard over the Hebra Mountains and be able to dive straight in through the eye of the storm, dropping in on the massive Stormwind Ark, the Wind Temple of legends.

Arriving on the deck of this ship, not only will it become very apparent that the blizzard is created by the craft, but Princess Zelda...or at least a vision of her... has been onboard. Tulin will once again be beckoned by voices to help stop the blizzard, and the dungeon will commence in earnest.
8. How many locks do Link and Tulin need to loosen to open the hatch aboard the Stormwind Ark (save for the one that's working)?

Answer: Five

As soon as Link and Tulin make an attempt to open the hatch on the main deck of the Stormwind Ark they'll discover that only one of its six components is functioning properly, and this will lead the pair on a journey through the different floors of the Wind Temple searching for five controls to activate the other panels.

When they find any of them, they turn out to function similarly to wind turbines, and with that it'll make sense to use Tulin's wind gust capability to get them going again. Once all five are set, they can return to the main panel and start the boss battle.
9. Colgera, the Scourge of the Wind Temple, has how many weak spots?

Answer: Three

As soon as Link and Tulin open the hatch they'll be blasted into the sky by Colgera, the Scourge of the Wind Temple. What will ensue is a battle in the sky overtop the Stormwind Ark in which the pair will have to focus on three fairly obvious weak points, all in different segments of this dragon-like creature's body. To defeat Colgera they'll need to shoot at the ice protecting these key spots, then strike the body parts inside.

This is typically best done with Arrows of varying strength while Link fires from mid-air.

The boss won't make it easy, snaking through the sky shooting projectiles and creating whirlwinds. Winning means destroying each weak point twice.
10. As soon as Colgera is defeated, which of these will happen?

Answer: The snow will melt at Rito Village

Once Colgera is destroyed, the storm plaguing the skies above Hebra Mountain will come to a swift end and the ice aboard the Ark will melt, revealing a Tear-shaped stone that will bestow itself upon Tulin. Tulin will be met by an ancestor-- a Rito warrior and sage who served the first King of Hyrule who will express his gratitude for protecting his secret stone from the Demon King. It's with this that Tulin will be deemed the new Sage of Wind and he'll be able to use his avatar to help Link throughout the rest of his adventure, leveraging his wind gust even when he's not near Link.

The snow in the region around Rito Village will also melt instantly, revealing the cliffside town as it appeared in its older days. Teba, Tulin's father, will give the newly-deemed sage his bow as a gift and Link will continue on his quest.
