Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. If Link finishes exploring the Regional Phenomena around Hyrule, a return to Lookout Landing will allow him and Purah to see who of these on the floating ruins of Hyrule Castle?

Answer: Princess Zelda

After the previous four temples are completed, Link will be requested to make his return to Lookout Landing to speak to Purah to discuss the person who appears as Princess Zelda as they're responsible for causing the issues in each region. Naturally, everyone's drawn the conclusion that these situations are related to the Upheaval.

That's when more things start to happen. As the Blood Moon rises, Zelda will appear in front of the Hyrule Castle guardhouse, overlooking the kingdom before vanishing. It's enough of a prompt to send Link up to investigate, and what he'll find there is a chase around the ruins of the royal palace's chambers, often finding monster hordes as traps, before finding her in the Sanctum.
2. In Hyrule Castle's throne room, Link will face Phantom Ganon. How many phantoms, at the maximum, will Link fight at once?

Answer: Five

Instead of finding the actual Princess Zelda in the throne room of Hyrule Castle, Link will discover that the Demon King's Phantom Saboteur, Phantom Ganon, is to blame for appearing as Zelda around the kingdom, and it will spark a battle in which Ganon unleashes his projections to push back. This will result in a group of five gloom-empowered phantoms attacking Link. Fortunately, the four Sages Link has contacted will appear by his side, arriving to help battle these foes.

What will also happen is that Ganon will show what he plans to do, eliminating the kingdom altogether, killing Link's allies, and leaving no survivors. He insists that they can not escape their fates and inevitable ends before vanishing. It'll leave Link to return to Purah and Lookout Landing for next steps.
3. To pick off Link's hunt for the fifth Sage, it will make sense to meet with the survey team examining the Ring Ruins in which location?

Answer: Kakariko Village

Back at Lookout Landing, Purah and the Sages will all agree that Link has to locate the fifth Sage of legend, as they will be the only way to bring Link to a level of power that can truly defeat the Demon King. All signs will inevitably point to the West Necluda Region where Kakariko Village will be the site of study for Purah's Zonai Survey Team. Interestingly, the mysterious not-Princess Zelda will have already told the new Chief of the village, Paya, not to investigate the Ring Ruins here. Naturally that's the place to start.

If Link heads into the Ring Ruin there and reads the inscription hidden inside, he'll get the keywords 'Mineru', 'Dragon Land', and 'Southeast' to work with. At least it's something!
4. Calip and Tauro, of the Zonai Survey Team, will meet Link at the Popla Foothills as their research has led them to believe that the Zonai Ruins are in which region of Hyrule?

Answer: Faron Woods

The slab that Link finds in the Ring Ruins at Kakariko Village refers to a site in the Faron Woods that the Zonai Survey Team refers to, easily, as the old Zonai Ruins, and to Link's advantage, it will be home to many unique items and potential discoveries hearkening back to the mysterious race that Link has been interacting with throughout the adventure. If Link can meet Calip and Tauro there, starting his trip by visiting their makeshift camp at the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower, he'll be directed southeast to Dracozu Lake to dig deeper into the mystery. And it will be shocking.
5. There are three items found in the caverns around Dracozu Lake. They all bear which adjective?

Answer: Charged

Once Link starts diving into the cave ruins around Dracozu Lake and the river that flows from it, he'll determine that the path forward involves a couple of key moves. First off, Link needs to accumulate three 'Charged' armor pieces from caverns that appear along the river as it snakes through the Faron Woods. If he does this, then he can wear them and present a Zonai Charge to the altar at the end of the river.

What this will do is activate a series of dragon-shaped Zonai pillars, creating a multi-pronged electrical strike from the storm above. And when this happens, Link will inadvertently lighten up the cloud cover, revealing the Sky Islands overhead. Investigating these is the next step on the journey.
6. The Thunderhead Isles will lead Link to Dragonhead Island. The door there will block his way and will cost which of these to open?

Answer: Hearts

If Link can find his way up to the Thunderhead Isles, possibly by using the Skyview Towers or by starting from the Sky Islands as it is, he'll find that it's possible to reach them now that the clouds have parted just enough to reveal the complex series of platforms that exists over the southern forests.

He'll have to cross the stormy islands all the way to Dragonhead Isle to find what he needs-- a massive Zonai doorway that will require all of his efforts, and cost his health, to open. It'll take ten full hearts to push open the door and access what's inside, so Link's health will need to be quite full and you'll need to be upgrading him enough to make that work (though by this point, the bosses of the game should bring him pretty close, health-wise).
7. The relic in Dragonhead Island will lead to the surface of Hyrule and then to the Depths, guiding him with a beam of what colour?

Answer: Green

Hiding on Dragonhead Island will be, of all things, a Zonai relic that appears as a large, green mask, and once Link removes it from its altar it will activate a persistent laser beam that focuses in on Link's next destination on Hyrule's surface, a platform that grants access down into Tobio's Hollow Chasm, just north of Dracozu Lake. If Link can get the relic down to the altar there, it'll open a path that grants access to an elevator platform that will take Link down to the next dungeon in the Depths-- the Construct Factory.
8. Link will delve into the Construct Factory where he'll meet the Sage of Spirit. What is this Sage's name?

Answer: Mineru

Once Link slots the Zonai Relic into the large device in the heart of the Construct Factory, he'll be greeted by the voice of Mineru, the Sage of Spirit, who he's been searching for this whole time. As it turns out, Mineru no longer has a body or a physical form of any sort, so speaking to them and utilizing them going forward isn't really possible unless Link can create a new form for them to be use. Fortunately, they have a solution for this as well, being a resourceful and technologically-advanced being, and if Link can help with that, they can head onward to the Spirit Temple proper.
9. How many storehouses or depots are connected to the Construct Factory?

Answer: Four

Once Mineru's Relic is placed into its proper spot, Link will be shown the way to four nearby storehouses, each a depot containing one limb that needs to be attached to the frame in the middle of the Construct Factory to create a new body for the formless Sage. If Link can maneuver the items (using Ultrahand, generally) through the respective depots and back to the starting point, he'll be able to assemble a body and allow Mineru to animate. And the best part is, Link can ride the new Mineru's body as it takes him southward to the Spirit Temple, en route to recover the Sacred Stone.
10. There is no final boss for the Spirit Temple.

Answer: False

Once Link and Mineru arrive at the Vessel of Spirit's Resting Place, the Spirit Temple, Mineru will activate an altar that will allows them to descend into the tomb below. The Sacred Stone is there, but it'll be guarded by one of Mineru's past creations, and this arrival will lead to a tense boss battle against the Scourge of the Spirit Temple, the Seized Construct. Forcing this foe to collide with the erected, electrified walls of the arena will end up putting it down once and for all, and Link can do this from Mineru's back.

Once the fight is over, Mineru's spirit will emerge from the Purah Pad to claim the Sacred Stone, and Link will be bestowed with the Vow of Mineru, Sage of Spirit, allowing him to call upon the construct elsewhere in the kingdom. In the meantime, Mineru will explain the rest of the story of the Imprisoning War in which Ganondorf killed Queen Sonia and stole her stone, transforming into the Demon King. Despite Rauru sacrificing himself to seal Ganon away, it was inevitable that the Demon King would return to face off against a swordsman, named Link, who would use the sword to seal away the darkness. That time has come.
