Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Midlane characters, despite not all being aesthetically suited to the label, are frequently referred to as "mages". If the player wants to play an actual mage mid lane, the only one who can have an attack with completely infinite range, and one notorious for 'the stars', who might they choose?

Answer: Gideon

Using the Augment 'Infinite Impact', Gideon's Void Breach has a completely infinite range. It cannot pierce terrain, so it will explode upon impact. But infinite range has its obvious utilities, gunning down enemies trying to flee from the user, doing damage from a distance and 'poking' are just some possibilities.
2. Ability Power is the main focus of Midlaners, as it's what they're most generally proficient in. Only a few midlaners actually achieve the perfect rank of 10 in Ability Power. Which of the following is one of them?

Answer: The Fey

The Fey can put this incredible scaling to deadly use, featuring impressive crowd control, AoE damage and combo potential. The Fey isn't the only one with perfect Ability Power however, as Lt. Belica, Argus, and Iggy & Scorch also possess this attribute. Gideon comes close, with a score of 9.
3. Basic Attack Power isn't something Midlaners are generally known for, but not all are so one dimensional. Which Midlaner of the following has a Basic Attack Power rating higher than 1?

Answer: Wraith

Like many Midlaners, Wraith is far more known for his Ability Power. However, he is capable of using an "R2 Build" that comes off of his decent Basic Attack Power of 4.
4. Countess, in particular, is the single most flexible character in the entire game according to Omeda Studios. How many roles, including Midlane, is Countess recommended for?

Answer: Three

Countess is the only character in the entire game to be recommended for three separate roles. Omeda Studios has recommended Countess for the midlane, jungle and offlane roles. This is likely due to the sheer flexibility of Countess' kit, boasting ranged magic damage, powerful up close melee damage, and a self heal sustain that suits being a jungler. No other character quite possesses this level of versatility and, while Countess isn't necessarily the best at delivering any of these roles, her versatility makes her an appealing option to new players, who want to fill as many roles as they can quickly on a structured team.
5. Countess isn't the only midlaner for whom Omeda Studios has approved a second role for. Which midlaner of the following has been recommended for a second role?

Answer: Lt. Belica

While both Gadget ans The Fey have seen significant usage in the Support role as per Omeda Studios' "Predecessor" stats app, they are not recommended by the developers for this role. Lt. Belica is listed in the game as both a Midlaner and a Support role, with the utility and disruption needed for the Support Role meshing well with the damage output ans range needed for the Midlaner role. Argus is also a Midlaner recommended for the Support role.
6. Characters with lock-on skills are very friendly to newer players, who will appreciate the assistance in landing a powerful hit. Which Midlaner of the following possesses a lock-on skill?

Answer: Morigesh

Morigesh's Ultimate Ability, of all things, is a lock-on skill. Morigesh must first use her Mark ability to Mark an enemy target. After doing so, she may use her Curse ability, a guaranteed hit that deals significant damage to the target. Marking enemies generally is very easy as long as they actually engage the player in combat in any way, so landing the lock-on Curse would make for a natural follow up.
7. Countess may be the most flexible all around character, but Wraith can make an argument for the most flexible character within the Midlane role. With the use of an Augment, Wraith can make his signature Ability do entirely Magic damage, or let it do strictly Physical. What is Wraith's most damaging Ability?

Answer: Knock, Knock!

Knock, Knock! is by far and large Wraith's deadliest Ability. His other two abilities, Surprise, Surprise! and Peekaboo! are utility moves intended to make Knock, Knock! do more damage. The Neutralizer is Wraith's Basic Attack.

By choosing the Mystic Marksman Augment, Wraith can make Knock, Knock! deal exclusively Magic damage. However, Wraith could opt not to use Mystic Marksman as a means of disrupting an enemy's response to his presence; a team expecting Wraith to deal Magic damage may be taken off guard and foiled if he deals Physical instead. His other two Augments, Illusionist and Sniper's Bounty, are perfectly formidable choices should a Wraith player want to forgo dealing significant Magic damage.
8. Midlane characters are generally expected to provide powerful Area-Of-Effect damage to deal with crowds of enemies. Which character of the following possesses the Ultimate Ability with the widest Area-Of-Effect?

Answer: Gadget

Gadget's Utlimate Ability, Tesla Dome, covers an incredibly large circle that progressively grows over its lifespan. Enemies stuck inside the dome take large amounts of damage ans are Slowed, while their Magic Armor is also slightly shredded.

Lt. Belica, Morigesh and Wraith do possess a degree of Area-of-Effect capabilities. However, their Ultimate Abilities are all entirely single target. Other options for characters with AoE intensive Ultimates would be Gideon, Renna or Iggy & Scorch.
9. While not strictly required, having the ability to temporarily incapacitate an enemy can turn the tide in a team fight. Which Midlaner of the following can Immobilize an enemy?

Answer: Argus

Argus' Dread Nova skill stuns enemies for a period of time which increases as the skill is levelled up. Countess, Gadget, Iggy & Scorch, Lt. Belica, Renna, and The Fey can also Immobilize enemies somehow.
10. Given the Midlane's tendency to get invaded by enemy junglers, the role demands characters which can find some way to defend themselves- or escape if they get jumped. Which Midlaner of the following possesses an enhanced jump?

Answer: Renna

Renna can do a double jump to greatly reduce the speed at which she lands. Combined with her Stupor skill, which propels Renna into the air by quite a lot, Renna can escape situations quite easily if the opponent doesn't have a ranged means of stunning or pulling her.
