Before giving a rundown of the list, it should be noted that, even if an item is not under the Carry category, a player playing in the Carry role may purchase it anyway. The shop, in this game, only prevents the player from building more than one Cursed item at once, and does not ever otherwise stop the player from accessing an item they want.
Items under the Carry category will tend to focus on one or a couple of Attack Speed, Critical Chance, Physical Power and Ability Haste. They will also have passive effects which are strictly geared towards dealing damage. Carry characters are meant to be fragile, so these items will almost never give any sort of survivability, favoring pumping out as much ranged DPS as possible.
Ashbringer is a Carry item focused on reducing the buyer's cooldowns, while balancing the need to give Carry-appropriate stats.
Cursed Ring is a truly enigmatic Carry item, devoting itself towards maximizing Attack Speed even at the expense of downright reducing damage dealt with Basic Attacks. Damage dealt from Carry characters is typically through Basic Attacks, so this item is not always the greatest choice for a Carry.
Demolisher does not provide Attack Speed, instead serving as a heavily anti-Tank item. It allows the user to ignore a huge chunk of a target's Physical Armor, making it easier to cut through tanky enemies who will be building Phys Armor.
Dust Devil provides Attack Speed, Crit Chance, plenty of power, and a unique passive that makes the buyer move faster the more they're able to land hits against an enemy. This makes it great for facilitating fast paced, aggressive playstyles.
Equinox provides Attack Speed and Crit, with a passive that uniquely is intended to give buyers some protection; when they reach low health, Equinox will provide them a shield on a hefty cooldown which could just barely be enough to win a shootout with.
Imperator is a classic Carry item, seeking to massively amplify the damage Critical Hits do. All Carry characters should aspire to reach 100% Critical Chance, in which case Imperator would simply provide a gargantuan power boost on doing so. Every Carry apart from Wraith will be building this item in 99% of their games.
Lightning Hawk is an item which is slightly more raw damage-geared than Dust Devil, but is also interested in increasing the buyer's mobility.
Necrosis is a Carry item focused on enhancing their Ultimate Ability, by providing Attack Speed and Crit Chance as most Carry items do, and meshing it with a passive that both strengthens one's Ultimate and reduces its cooldown by quite a fair bit.
Nuclear Rounds is best served for Carry characters with strong Abilities. It provides a ton of Attack Speed, some Crit Chance, and enhances the damage output of Abilities by an amount which is based on the user's Crit Chance.
Plasma Blade is unique in that it is the only Carry item in the entire game to give both Physical and Magical Power in one item. It also offers a sizable amount of Attack Speed and Crit Chance. This is essentially the mandatory first item for Grim.exe, the game's Magically-based Carry. It's also deceptively useful on Skylar, who has a fair bit of Magical scaling baked into her kit.
Resolution is, in turn, basically Wraith's signature first item as a Carry. It is a scaling item, where the buyer gains permanent bonuses to their max mana any time they kill anything, be it PvE minion or PvP player. On top of that, it provides standard Carry stats of Attack Speed and Crit.
Scattershot is, in turn, essentially Eden's signature first item of choice. It provides added damage output on killing something and enhances the user's Basic Attack significantly, in addition to providing customary Attack Speed and Crit Chance for stats.
Sky Splitter is an excellent catch-all that any Carry can use, because it is reliable and consistently useful. It offers a nifty passive which boasts strong Anti-Tank, while the item itself offers Attack Speed and even a bit of Life Steal. This item has something for everything as far as Carry characters go. If you are making a build for a Carry and you have no idea what you're doing, oftentimes simply slapping Sky Splitter somewhere is a strong, productive choice. Unless you're trying to build Wraith, the one Carry who really doesn't get much value from it.
Tainted Rounds is, unless you're Wraith, the mandatory Tainted item of choice for if a Carry needs some anti-heal. It provides standard Carry stats while fulfilling an all too valuable niche. Wraith, on the other hand, will likely prefer Tainted Blade or Trident despite these items not being Carry items.
Vanquisher is arguably the most well known, iconic Carry item in the entire game. It offers Carry stats, minus Attack Speed, but it more than makes up for this with one of the most unique and memorable passives for any item in the entire game; if the buyer attacks a foe in a way which takes them to 5% of their health or lower, Vanquisher will trigger an Execute and simply kill the target on the spot even if they "should have" survived. With Vanquisher, all of your enemies effectively are reduced to 95% of their health bar at all times.
Absolution, Augmentation, Berserker's Axe, Cursed Scroll, Earthshaker and Tainted Blade are Fighter class items. They are not necessarily completely unusable for Carry characters, but they have clearly not been designed for Carry characters to wield. They have some degree of offensive emphasis, but are also geared towards keeping the buyer afloat and alive in adverse situations, something which a Carry already has a Support to help them manage through.
Amulet of Chaos, Magnify, Golem's Gift and World Breaker are Mage class items. These items are simply poor fits the vast majority of the time for Carry characters. Grim.exe could very, very situationally perhaps consider the former two items at the very back of his build, but even then, he will have superior options the vast majority of the time.
Deathstalker, Dread, Echelon Cloak, Painweaver, Spear of Desolation and Tainted Trident are Assassin class items. While the stats on these items might not always be the worst for Carry characters, the fundamental problem is that Assassin items tend to be Ability-focused, whereas Carry characters are generally always Basic Attack-focused. As a very notable exception to this rule, the Ability-focused Wraith can certaintly justify buying one or multiple Assassin items. However, other Carry characters will always have better options.
Fist of Razuul, Giant's Ring and Inquisition are Tank class items. Obviously, items built to help the buyer survive attacks as a main focus are going to be poor fits for a Carry character who wants to instead deal as much damage as possible.
Finally, Frosted Lure is a Support item. Same idea for the Tank items.
