Britney Spears set the land speed record for failed marriages when she married her friend from Louisiana, Jason Alexander (not the guy from "Seinfeld"). They were married only 55 hours before they filed for annulment. Both of them were highly intoxicated when they got married (not that unusual with Las Vegas weddings). The marriage was during the first week in 2004. Spears and Alexander were married at the Little White Wedding Chapel. According to witnesses, she wore torn jeans and he wore a baseball cap.

In September 2004, Spears married dancer Kevin Federline and they had two children together. The couple was divorced in July 2007. Since her divorce, Spears has been linked with numerous men.
2. Cher

Answer: Greg Allman

Cher and Greg Allman were married for 3 years when they filed for divorce. Cher was Allman's third wife; Allman was her second husband, after Sonny Bono (1963-75). On June 30, 1975, literally three days after her divorce with Sonny Bono was final, Cher and Allman flew to Las Vegas to get married.

They were married in June 1975 and divorced in January 1979. Cher actually filed for divorce only nine days into the marriage because of Allman's drug and alcohol abuse. They managed to stay married for over three years, and had a son, Elijah Blue.

Since then, Cher has been linked with a wide range of actors and musicians. Allman was married four more times before his death in May 2017.
3. Carmen Electra

Carmen Electra (Tara Lynn Patrick) and basketball player Dennis Rodman were married for nine days when they filed for an annulment. They were married in November 1998 and the marriage ended in April 1999. Electra and Rodman were married at the Little Chapel of Flowers.

Electra had lost both her mother and sister earlier in 1998, and was in an emotionally vulnerable place that led her to make strange decisions.
"It's easy to get caught up in a moment. You think it's romantic, but then you realize, God, we did it in Vegas? It's like getting a cheeseburger at a fast-food restaurant," said Electra in 2013.

Electra was married to rock musician Dave Navarro from November 2003 to February 2007.

Electra was Rodman's second wife, after Annie Bakes. He was married to Michelle Moyer from 2003; Michelle filed for divorce in 2004, but it was not final until 2012.
4. Sinead O'Connor

Irish Singer Sinead O'Connor was married to Herridge only 18 days before things went off the rails. They were married on December 8, 2011 at the Little White Chapel. O'Connor's drug addiction led to the dissolution of the marriage; Herridge is a drug counsellor. She filed for divorce on Christmas Eve 2011. Happy New Year, Barry.

Herridge was actually O'Connor's fourth husband. She was married to record producer John Reynolds from 1987 to 1991; they had a son named Jake. She was also married to journalist Nicholas Sommerland (2001-2004) and musician Steve Cooney (2010-2011).
5. Erin Everly

Fashion model Erin Everly and rock star Axl Rose were married for only 9 months before things were over. They were married in April 1990 and had the marriage annulled in January 1991. Everly in the daughter of singer Don Everly. Rose wrote the song "Sweet Child O'Mine" about Everly. They got married at the Cupid Chapel in Las Vegas after a quick drive from Los Angeles.

Since then, Everly was married to architect Jack Portman from 1997 to 2006. Rose has been linked with a variety of women, mostly models, since the divorce.
6. Nicky Hilton

Paris Hilton is not the only Hilton sister who made some bad decisions. Older sister Nicky was married to Todd Meister for three months in 2004 (August 15 to November 9). Meister is a hedge fund manager with a Harvard MBA. Hilton is the heiress of a hotel chain. They got married at the Vegas Wedding Chapel at 2:30 in the morning (a common time for Vegas marriages). Paris Hilton was there as a witness.

Hilton seems to have turned her life around. Since 2015 she has been married to European banking scion James Rothschild and they had two children, Lily and Teddy.
7. Pamela Anderson

Pamela Anderson and Las Vegas gambler Rick Salomon have been married twice. The first time was between October and December of 2007, and the marriage was annulled in February 2008. That wedding was at the Mirage Casino. Their second marriage started in late 2013 and ended in early 2015.

Anderson's first marriage was with Rocker Tommy Lee from 1995 to 1998; they had two sons. She was married very briefly to rocker Kid Rock in 2006.

Salomon's dating life is equally complicated. He was married to Elizabeth Daily (1995-2000) and Shannen Doherty (2002-2003) before his marriages to Anderson.
8. Angelina Jolie

Almost the poster children for strange marriages, Jolie and Thornton met while they were filming "Pushing Tin" in 1999. They got married at the Little Church of the West.

It was Thornton's fifth marriage. His ex-wives: Melissa Gatlin (1978-80), Toni Lawrence (1986-88), Cynda Williams (1990-92) and Pietra Dawn Cherniak (1993-1997). Thornton has been with makeup artist Connie Angland since 2003 and they got married in 2014.

It was Jolie's second marriage, after Jonny Lee Miller (1996-2000). She and Thornton were married in 2000, and separated by 2002. Jolie would go on to marry Brad Pitt, who left Jennifer Aniston. They got together in 2004, married in 2014 and divorced in 2019.
9. Melanie Griffith

Melanie Griffith's love life is more than a little complicated. She met Don Johnson when she was 14 and he was working on "The Harrad Experiment" with Melanie's mother, Tippi Hedren. They eloped to Las Vegas in January 1976 and were divorced in July 1976. Griffith was 18 when she married Johnson for the first time.

Griffith was married to actor Steven Bauer from 1981 to 1988, when she got back together with Johnson. Their daughter Dakota was born in October 1989. Griffith left Johnson to be with Antonio Banderas. They got married in 1996 and divorced in 2015. Their daughter Stella was born in September 1996.

Griffith was Johnson's third wife; he had two short marriages. He had relationships with Patti D'Arbanville and Barbara Streisand before getting back together with Melanie. In 1999, Johnson married Kelley Phleger; they had three kids.
10. Mia Farrow

Mia Farrow married Frank Sinatra at the Sands in July 1966. She suspended her acting briefly at Sinatra's request, but soon grew bored simply being his wife. Farrow accepted the lead in "Rosemary's Baby" (1968) and the marriage fell apart soon afterwards. They were divorced in August 1968.

Farrow was married to conductor Andre Previn from 1970 to 1979, and had a notorious relationship with Woody Allen in the 1980s.

Farrow was Sinatra's third wife, after Nancy Barbato (1939-51) and Ava Gardner (1951-57). He would later marry Barbara Marx in 1976, and they were married until Sinatra's death in 1998.
