Then Jacob worked another seven years and married Rachel also. Mary and Joseph, Jesus' mother and her husband, are in the New Testament.

During Diana's lifetime Charles was heir to the throne, not a reigning monarch.

When he ascended to the throne as King Charles III in 2023 he was married to Camilla Parker-Bowles who became Queen Camilla.

Mary Russell becomes Sherlock Holmes' partner in "The Beekeeper's Apprentice" and subsequent books by Laurie R. King. Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were on the other side of the law. According to the FBI, they were believed to have committed at least 13 murders as well as robberies and burglaries.
