Both Disney and distributor RKO had a sizeable amount of British pounds tied up in the UK after World War II. Government restrictions prevented Disney from taking the money out of the country, so he decided to use it to make a movie.

Answer: Flowers and Trees

Although Walt won a honorary award in 1937 for "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", he won his first Oscar for the Silly Symphony short "Flowers and Trees". The catagory was Best Short Subject: Cartoon.

"Yensid" is actually Disney backwards. Also when buying up land to create WDW in Florida he used the name "Retlaw", this is his first name, Walter, spelt backwards. I think I'm sensing a pattern here.
