Answer: Kayak paddles are double-bladed; Canoe paddles are not

The reason for this is because kayaks are generally for one person who will need to paddle on both sides of the kayak. Canoes can have multiple people in them so each rider can paddle on one side.

Answer: Australia

Australia defeated Germany for the gold medal in both the men's and women's divisions. The British men and French women won the bronze medal.

Paddleboarding is a sport similar to surfing in which you lay flat on your stomach and use your arms to paddle and surf through the waves. There are different variations of paddleboarding with some requiring the participant to stand up.

Answer: Snowkayak

Snowkayak is like kayaking but combined with snowboarding and is played on a snowy hill or mountain. Skurfing is waterskiing but on a surfboard. Korfball is a hybrid of soccer, netball and basketball. Iomain is an Irish sport that combines shinty with hurling.
