The U.S Army intended to place bedbugs in capsules equipped with radio transmitters. The bedbugs would be dropped in certain areas that the Viet Cong were suspected of hiding. When the radio man heard the hungry barks, artillery and air strikes could be called in. The war ended before these bugs could serve their country.
