Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the 1939 movie version of "The Wizard of Oz," who/what replaces "The Forest of Fighting Trees" in the 1900 "Wonderful Wizard of Oz" novel?

Answer: apple trees

The trees in the original novel were guardians of a great wood through which Dorothy needed to pass on her way to Glinda's castle. The trees used their long arms to pick up the Scarecrow and throw him back when he attempted to walk up the road.
