Answer: Graz

Graz is also the second largest city in Austria.
2. What is the largest district of Styria (by sqkm)?

Answer: Liezen

Liezen has 3270 sq km, Muerzzuschlag 849, Feldbach 727 and Fuerstenfeld is the smallest of all with 264 (if you don´t count Graz).
3. What is the approximate percentage of the Austrian area is made up by Styria?

Answer: 20%

1.2 million people live in Styria which is about 15% of all Austrians.
4. What is the highest mountain of Styria?

Answer: Dachstein

The height of the Dachstein is about 3,000 metres (ca 10,000 feet). It's in the north-western part of Styria.

Lower Styria was removed from Austria after WW I, and is now main part of Slovenia.

Answer: Welschriesling

Schilcher is the main vine growing area in western Styria; Grüner Veltliner is the main area of Austria; Traminer is the most famous one in my home county.

The Mur (Mura) is also the longest river of Styria. In Croatia it flows into the Drau (Drina)

Answer: Radkersburg

Radkersburg is the most south-eastern district of Styria. It borders Slovenia in the south and east. Bad Radkersburg, the district capital, is one part of the now separated city of Radkersburg. The other (and bigger)one is Gorna Radgona (Upper Radkersburg) in Slovenia.
