Rain was raised in Washington, DC with her adopted parents, and her adopted siblings, Roy and Beni. She ended up moving to rural Virginia with her biological grandmother and finding she had just as many problems living in a huge mansion as she did living in the projects.

3. How much did Beni's "friends" want for the negatives?

Poor Beni got into trouble when she was photographed naked at a party. Carlton and Jared demanded $250 to keep the negatives from making more pictures and circulating. After Rain pawned her expensive bracelet to help Beni, they found they had been tricked, and poor Beni ended up being murdered.
