Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Did you tell her every time you're on tv you look ten pounds heavier?"

Answer: Mallrats

'Mallrats' was Kevin's second major release and his third movie all together. Poor T.S. This exchange between he (Jeremy London) and Brandi (Clair Forlani) was the beginning of a very bad day for him.
2. "I'll bet you twenty bucks you don't get that movie."

Answer: Clerks

Dante had a bad day in this movie, just like T.S. in 'Mallrats'. He wasn't even supposed to be there that day. Set in a convienence store in Red Bank, New Jersey, it was shot entirely in black and white using a 16mm camera and $27,575.00. Randal, the video store clerk next door, said this line to a customer who was waiting for him to open the store and was unaware he was the clerk.
3. Jay: "Yo, Flo! Whip me up a toasted bagel with some cream cheese! You want one?" Silent Bob: *nods head yes* Jay: "Make that two and kiss my grits! Nooch!"

Answer: Chasing Amy

Regarded by many, including Kevin, to be one of his worst works. 'Chasing Amy' was released in 1997. Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin) had only one small scene in this movie. Almost every movie made by him since has mentioned 'Chasing Amy' in an unfavorable way.
4. "Uh, I think I just filled the cup..."

Answer: Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

The last installment from Kevin's 'Jay and Silent Bob' series. Released in 2001, it was a romp across the US to try and get the movie from not being made. The DVD version, with all the deleted scenes, is a must have for any fan.
5. "Hahahahaha, Holy Bartender. I get it, that's a great one."

Answer: Dogma

Being Catholic myself, 'Dogma' was a great movie. This one generated a lot of hate mail from people all over the US. Controversial to say the least, but worth watching. 'Dogma' was released in 1999.
6. "Peddle your wares somewhere else, ______ ______."

Answer: Burn Boy

This quote is from 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.' I cannot believe that Kevin did not use the 'Randal' character more in his movies, along with Jeff Anderson, the actor who played Randal. He had one of the leads in 'Clerks,' and played a small part in 'Dogma'. He was one of the voices in 2000's short-lived 'Clerks: The Animated Series.'
7. "Hey man, lemme ask you something. If somebody draws something, and then you draw the exact same thing, like RIGHT on top of it, without going outside the original designated art, what do you call that?" "I don't know man, ________? "

Answer: Tracing

Banky really hated being called a tracer. This started in 'Chasing Amy,' the movie this quote is from.
8. "But you hate people!" "Yes, but I love _________. Ironic, isn't it?"

Answer: gatherings

Again, Randal comes out with some of his dry wit. He wanted to close the store here in 'Clerks' to go to a viewing. Dante, being the voice of reason, relented but finally gave in. Randal ended up knocking over the coffin. And the body rolled out onto the floor.
9. "No pleasure, no rapture, no exquisite sin greater than ______ ______."

Answer: Central Air

Jason Lee, as Azreal, uttured this comment after he killed a lady and took over her home in 'Dogma'. He played a demon in this one.
10. "I love the smell of _______ in the morning."

Answer: Commerce

When T.S. and Brodie first enter the mall, Brodie holds his hands to the heavens and exclaims this phrase. I have seen the few movies that Jason Lee has been in. He is a good actor, but he seems to give his all when Kevin casts him. "Mallrats" was released in 1995. "Tell 'em Steve Dave."
