Actually, Miriam Blaylock was a character from another vampire film "The Hunger". In that film, Miriam was a seductive vampiress.

Sex Machine was staking some vampires until he looked over at Kate. As he was distracted, a vampire woke up and bit him on the arm. He later put on his jacket to hide the bite.

Sheryl Lee played the part of Katrina, a prostitute from the slayers' party who was later bitten by Valek after she entered a motel room alone.
