Murdoc is the bass player and leader of Gorillaz. He first found Stu-Pot (2-D) when crashed through the window of a store and into Stu-Pot's head fracturing an eyeball. After 30,000 hours of community service Murdoc spent time with 2-D. He ended up in another wreck fracturing Stu-Pot's other eyeball.

This second injury caused him to become even better at making music and this is just what Murdoc needed.

Russel the only one live through this was possessed by his friends spirits giving him amazing rapping and drum playing abilities.
