Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The album is "Rated R", but who is it restricted to?

Answer: Everyone, everywhere, all the time

In the bottom right hand corner of the album, there is a little logo, which reads: "Queens Of The Stone Age. R. Restricted to everyone, everywhere, all the time". Despite this warning, this album brought QOTSA worldwide acclaim and success. (Suggesting that many people bought it!)
2. There was a vinyl record produced as well as the "Rated R" CD. What was the record called?

Answer: Rated X

It was called "Rated X" mainly because of the pornographic material it contained. The record included some bonus tracks, which were later added to various 'special edition' "Rated Rs". It has no barcode (?) and its ref number seems to be 000 000-0.
3. The first song, "Feel Good Hit Of The Summer", is about drugs. Their names make up most of the lyrics. How many lyrics aren't the names of the seven drugs? (Not including "OOHs, OHs, YEAHs, ANDs etc!)

Answer: 0

The lyrics are just those seven drugs!
4. In what order are the seven drugs sung in the song "Feel Good Hit of the Summer"?

Answer: Nicotine, Valium, Vicodin, Marijuana, Ecstacy, Alcohol, Cocaine

"Cocaine" is sung "C-c-c-c-c-coCAINE" and "C-COcaine". The first 6 drugs are sung in one sort of verse, with "cocaine" in a chorusy thing.
5. Finish the lyric: "Baby, baby, you're so ____".

Answer: sweet

From the song "Quick And To The Pointless".
"Baby baby you're so sweet (goddam ah, ah, wooo)!" I got 'vague' from "You're So Vague", which is on a special edition 2CD Japanese bonus track "Rated R". (Which I've got. Yeah!)
6. Which of these tracks was ON the original CD?

Answer: I Think I Lost My Headache

All the incorrect answers were on special edition "Rated R"s, but not on the original. "Who Will Be The Next In Line?" is a cover.
7. Are all of the lead vocals sung by Josh Homme?

Answer: No

Nick Oliveri sings the lead vocals for "Autopilot", "Quick And To The Pointless" and "Tension Head", and Mark Lanegan is on the lead vocals for "In The Fade"
8. Finish the lyric: "In a hotel on the phone You're gonna leave me, I should've known (i should've known) And I was thinkin, it's so sad I didn't want you to go Don't wanna follow ____."

Answer: the laws of man.

This is from the song "Leg Of Lamb".
9. Finish the lyric: "The ____ pill opens your eyes Is there a better way? A new religion prescribed To those without the faith."

Answer: blue

This is from the song "Better Living Through Chemistry".
10. Last one! Another lyrics question: "When we arrive in the middle of nowhere Don't act like you know, I been here so many times I never seen you before But now that I have, ________."

Answer: I don't wanna see you no more.

From the song "Autopilot".
