Question 1 of 10
1. Upon arrival to the dusty, demolished archive, you realize you have a hard task ahead. With such big piles of dirt before you, surely there must be a lot of cards to uncover.

Without delay, you start digging, and soon you come across your first ID card. You see a man performing with a guitar, and as you keep removing the dust, some other words start to appear. It seems he was an ardent activism against world hunger, so it makes sense that he had a song about "30.000 Pounds of Bananas".

It seems you have enough information to figure out to which Harry this ID belongs to.
Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. The next card you pick up is heavily covered with dirt. As you brush it off, some words start showing up. "NATO", "Doctrine", "Marshall"... it doesn't ring a bell, until finally a picture emerges, showing a middle aged man with glasses and a solemn expression.

You snap your fingers as you write down the last name of the Harry you just identified.

Answer: (Dewey didn't beat him)
Question 3 of 10
3. Surprisingly, a card pops out from under the debris on its own. You pick it up and place it in your pocket as you reach for your brush. But somehow it slides out of it and falls to the ground again. You grab it and squeeze it tightly, only for it to slip out and go on its own once more.

You take a glance, and see "Weisz" written on it. No wonder it managed to escape so many times! What "Harry" does this card belong to?
Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. As you dust off the next card, you uncover the face of a wavy-haired, handsome young man. Also, you see that there's not that much written information on it. Instead, there's this QR code that links to his bio page and social media, with most of the content being music-related. "A sign of the times", you think to yourself.

What is the last name of this Harry?
Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. You find another card, in a much better condition than the previous ones. After reading single lines such as "Invictus Games", "Archewell Inc.", and "Heads Together", you quickly realize that it belongs to Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex. However, you think to yourself, there's also a highly publicized and controversial fact related to him, that is not mentioned in the card. What was it? Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. Although their last names bring to mind two famous movie titles, these two Harrys don't belong in the film industry. Where would you classify both Harry Kane and Harry Maguire? Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. You run into another card belonging to a Mr. Hirsz Mojzesz Wonsal, who became a "Harry" after moving to the US from his native Poland. You store his card under the Entertainment section after learning that he, along with 3 of his brothers, founded a famous film production company in 1923. Which one? Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. You feel tempted to classify the next Harry into zoology, but although his surname mixes two animal names, he made his reputation as a very prolific writer. What is the last name of this author, who penned "The Guns Of The South" (1992), among others? Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. Some of the information in the next data card sounds totally obscure to you. The next Harry that you find, Markowitz, is credited with the formalization of the MPT based on the Efficience Frontier, which paved the way for the development of the CAPM.

You still have no clue as to where to categorize him, but luckily, the card also tells you that he won a Nobel Prize in 1990 for all the time he 'invested' in his contributions. In what field did he excel?
Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. One final name pops up, and you quickly store the card into the Entertainment folder, upon recognizing Harry Shearer as the voice actor behind many memorable characters of this long-running, frequently quoted animated series. You deserve some "Steamed Hams" for such a productive workday! Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts

Answer: Chapin

Born Harold Forster Chapin, he had a very fruitful musical career that came to a peak in the decade of 1970. His most famous song is "Cat's in the Cradle" (1974).
Aside from his musical side, he was also a devoted philanthropist, playing many benefit concerts and donating large portions of his performances' earnings to charitable causes, mainly directed to combat hunger in the USA. Chapin died in 1981 following a car accident.

Answer: Truman

The 33rd President of the USA, Harry Truman, served for two terms, and the most remarkable points of his management were the implementation of the Marshall Plan to aid the post-war economies of Western Europe, and the establishment of both the Truman Doctrine and the NATO, both aimed at containing the expansion of communism.
However, he's also remembered for a dismal event, as he authorized the first ever (and, hopefully, last) use of atomic weapons in war, against the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Answer: Houdini

Erik Weisz, who performed under the stage name of Harry Houdini, was an escape artist, perhaps the most famous of them all. He chose that name as an homage to the famous French magician, Jean-Eugene Robert-Houdin.

His stunts often involved chains and handcuffs. Some of the most remembered ones include the Daily Mirror Challenge, the "Milk Can" Escape, and a stunt in which he was buried alive.

He died in 1926 in somewhat obscure circumstances, after receiving a punch to the abdomen, although the official case of death was peritonitis.

Answer: Styles

Harry Styles first rose to fame as a member of the pop band One Direction back in 2010, under the mentoring of Simon Cowell. He later went on to pursue a solo career, with his first album being released in 2017. The first single off it, "Sign Of The Times" (2017), was a major success and reached number 1 in the UK charts and number 4 in the US.

By the way, the incorrect options are the last names of his band mates in One Direction.

Answer: He and his wife stepped back as Senior Members of the Royal Family

In January 2020, the Royal couple shocked the world by announcing their decision to become financially independent from the Crown, and step back as working members of the Royal Family.

After a period of transition, determined by the Queen through a rare personal statement, an agreement was reached to handle the situation. Although they still retain their titles as Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan no longer represent the Queen, and they also had to give up their royal patronages, though they retained their private ones.
6. Although their last names bring to mind two famous movie titles, these two Harrys don't belong in the film industry. Where would you classify both Harry Kane and Harry Maguire?

Answer: Sports

Both of them are English football players, who represented their National Team at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, with Kane being the top scorer of the tournament and the team's captain. Maguire, though not so prolific at goal scoring, became England's highest scoring defender in November 2021 after netting his 7th goal with the national team.
7. You run into another card belonging to a Mr. Hirsz Mojzesz Wonsal, who became a "Harry" after moving to the US from his native Poland. You store his card under the Entertainment section after learning that he, along with 3 of his brothers, founded a famous film production company in 1923. Which one?

Answer: Warner Bros.

The Wonsal family migrated from Poland to the United States in 1889. Brothers Szmuel, Aaron, and Hirsz eventually got their names anglicized and became Sam, Albert, and Harry Warner. Together with their younger brother, Jack, born in Canada, they started a career in the film industry, and established Warner Bros. Pictures, Inc., on April 4, 1923. Harry was the president of the company until 1956.
8. You feel tempted to classify the next Harry into zoology, but although his surname mixes two animal names, he made his reputation as a very prolific writer. What is the last name of this author, who penned "The Guns Of The South" (1992), among others?

Answer: Turtledove

Harry Turtledove's work covers a number of genres, mainly alternate history and science fiction. Many of his books were published under pseudonyms. One of his most acclaimed works was the "Worldwar" series, which depicts an alien invasion of Earth during WWII. He has received numerous awards and accolades throughout his career.

Answer: Economics

Harry Markowitz graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of Chicago. He applied mathematical models to the stock market prices, and introduced the concept of risk in his analysis, leading him to devise the concept of Efficience Frontier, which is the set of investment portfolios that maximize the expected return given a certain level of risk.

This theory was key to the development of the Modern Portfolio Theory (MPT), and eventually, together with other scholars' contributions, to the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), one of the first approaches to the study of financial assets pricing.
10. One final name pops up, and you quickly store the card into the Entertainment folder, upon recognizing Harry Shearer as the voice actor behind many memorable characters of this long-running, frequently quoted animated series. You deserve some "Steamed Hams" for such a productive workday!

Answer: The Simpsons

Shearer provides the voice for several notable characters in "The Simpsons", such as Mr. Burns, Principal Skinner, Waylon Smithers and Ned Flanders among others.
Aside from his work in the series, he was also part of "Saturday Night Live" cast, and is the co-creator and co-writer of the mockumentary film "This Is Spinal Tap" (1984).
