Ninnau means "us" or "we also" and is pronounced "nin-eye."
The publisher's policy is "Answering the need for a stronger link between the many Welsh communities of North America".

Answer: University of Pittsburgh

Several classrooms were dedicated by the University for the study of things Welsh. Much of the impetus for the establishment of the classroom came from the St Davids Society of Pittsburgh.

Answer: Madog

Prince Madog according to legend being one of seventeen sons of the Welsh king Owain to avoid becoming involved in the wars over the family inheritance with his brothers, Prince Madog, sailed from Wales in the Gwennan Gorn to seek his fortune. Upon his return to Gwynedd, he was able to convince a number of people that he had discovered a new land where people lived in peace.

Many believed this new land was America. The reality of his discovery has been studied, discounted - and still believed.

This legend convinced some Welsh people that they had a legitimate claim to America.

This poem perhaps says it all about Elihu Yale from Wrexham in North Wales. He became a very wealthy merchant and donated large sums to the establishment of Yale.

Andrew J Evans was a much decorated veteran achieving the rank of Major-General, USAF. he was an ace fighter pilot in WWII. He was the highest ranking POW in Korean War.

Answer: Griffith J Griffith

He gave 3,000 acres to Los Angeles for the creation of what has become the biggest city park in the United States (five times the size of New York's Central Park).

Answer: Murray the Hump

When Capone was imprisoned in 1933, Murray was described as America's "Public Enemy Number One". His superior intelligence was admired by Capone. Murray organized the syndicate's successful infiltration of legitimate businesses, he allegedly became the mob's chief "fixer" of leading politicians and lawmen in the Chicago area.
