3. Which of these Yankee teams had the most 20-game winners in their season?

Answer: 1978

They all had just one 20-game winner except for their 1978 team. Ron Guidry went 25-3 which earned him the 1978 AL Cy Young Award, and Ed Figueroa went 20-9 also. In 1927, Waite Hoyt was their 22-7 winner. Whitey Ford went 25-4 in 1961, and David Cone went 20-7 for the 1998 team.
4. Which of these Yankee teams lost the most games in their World Series?

6. Which of these great Yankee teams did not have either a MVP or Cy Young Award winner on it for that season?

Answer: 1998

Maris hit 61 in baseball's first 162-game season in 1961. He broke the record of Babe Ruth who hit 60 in 1927. Due to Ruth's record in a 154-game season, fans always had the asterisk there for the Babe, until Mark McGwire broke both their records with 70 in 1998 for the Cardinals.
