Sarah Walker is married to Joe and has two children, Paige and Cooper. She also has a stepson, Gabriel, Joe's son from a previous marriage. She is made chairman of Ojai Foods at the start of the season, a move which causes tensions. By the end of Season One, Sarah and her husband are estranged.

Kitty is played by Calista Flockhart, who is, of course, best known for her role in "Ally McBeal". She won a Golden Globe for her role as the young lawyer.

Tommy Walker is married to Julia, and at the end of season one, they gave birth to twin babies, William and Elizabeth. William sadly died as a result of being born prematurely, but Elizabeth survived. Tommy found it difficult to deal with the fact that his older sister Sarah was made chairman of the family business over him, but seems to have come to terms with it since his acquisition of the vineyard. Tommy is played by Balthazar Getty, an actor who has appeared in films such as "Judge Dredd" and "Natural Born Killers." He also starred in the television series "Alias".

He is good friends with "Grey's Anatomy" star Eric Dane.

Kevin Walker is gay and has had various relationships and dates throughout season one. He kissed his sister's fiance's brother in the last episode of the season.
Kevin is played by Matthew Rhys, a Welsh actor. He starred in the London West End opposite Kathleen Turner in "The Graduate". He also plays Welsh poet Dylan Thomas in "The Edge of Love." He is good friends with "Fantastic Four" actor Ioan Gruffudd.

Justin Walker is the youngest child of his mother. His battle with drug addiction was his main storyline during season one, and when he received the news that he was going to have to return to service, he took an overdose and ended up in hospital. He had a relationship with Tyler during this season.
Justin is played by Dave Annable, a relative newcomer, who is best known for his role in "Little Black Book", starring Brittany Murphy.

Nora Walker was widowed at the very start of the season when her husband had a fatal heart attack. She had trouble coping initially but recovered to date a few different men, including her college professor, Mark, played by Peter Coyote. This relationship ended after he kissed another woman, and Nora's love rival no less!
Nora is played by veteran actress Sally Field, a two-time Oscar winner. She won the Academy Awards for "Norma Rae" and "Places in the Heart". She is also known for her guest starring role in "ER", as a woman suffering from bipolar disorder.

Saul Holden is in his 60s, and is the brother of Nora Walker. He cares very much for his sister and her children, and works closely with Sarah and Tommy at Ojai foods.
Saul is played by actor Ron Rifkin, who has starred in many films and television series. He is known for his roles in "JFK" and "LA Confidential" and his part in television series "Alias", in which he played Arvin Sloane.

Answer: Holly

Holly Harper was the mistress of William Walker for years before he died. Her existence only became known to the Walker family after William's death. She has a difficult relationship with her child as a result of her relationship with William, and indeed the Walker family.
Holly is played by Patricia Wettig, and is best known for her work on television. She starred in "thirtysomething" as Nancy Weston, and she was also in "Alias" and "Prison Break".

Answer: Rebecca

Rebecca Harper knew of William Walker as her mother's boyfriend, but didn't realise that she was his daughter until it was revealed to her by her half-sister, Sarah. She was gradually accepted into the Walker family, and went to live with them following a falling out with her mother. Rebecca also shared a kiss with Sarah's husband, Joe, eventually leading to the break up of her half-sister's marriage. Rebecca is played by Emily VanCamp, a Canadian actress is who best known for her role in "Everwood".

She has been linked romantically to her "Brothers & Sisters" costar Dave Annable, who plays her half-brother Justin.

Answer: Robert McAllister

Robert McAllister is a Republican who first appears in "Brothers & Sisters" as a guest on Kitty Walker's talkshow. He then persuades Kitty to work for him, and their relationship flourishes from there. By the end of the season, they are engaged and preparing to move in together.
Robert is played by Rob Lowe, a well known actor who was famous during the 1980s as a member of the 'Brat Pack'. He played a Democrat in "The West Wing".
