She never made an in-person appearance on the show. She was mentioned by name on a card in a sequence before the opening credits of "Every Daughter's Father is a Virgin," in the second season.

2. For most of the series, Detective Maddie Hayes drove a gray BMW. However, for a short time early in the show, she had a car of a different type. What was it?

Answer: A red sportscar

This car is only seen during a few episodes in the first season. After that, the gray BMW becomes her only car. We are never told what happened to the red car.

3. In the third season's "It's a Wonderful Job," Maddie gave a present to each of the workers at the Blue Moon agency. What was it?

Answer: A Cheez Whiz sampler

Early in the episode, David says he "[doesn't] think the Cheez Whiz sampler went over very well." The staff members were angry that they had to work during Christmas. Luckily, after a harrowing dream experience, Maddie changes her mind and sends everyone home.
