In this world, she is Marin. Her father is Tarin. Tarin suffers from bad judgement and falls victim to goofy mishaps, such as a transformation and a swarm of bees. The characters Malon and Talon exist in "Ocarina of Time," and the Malon look-a-likes Romani and Cremia are in "Majora's Mask." Link calls Marin "Zelda," when he first wakes up, but she corrects him.

If you ignore it here, you will get stuck before level three! With his sword and a few rupees, Link can win a Yoshi doll for the baby. Yes, it all begins with one small act of kindness. :) Cojiro the blue rooster is part of the trading sequence in "Ocarina of Time," and the Moustache comes from "Oracle of Ages." The stick is an item later in this game.

The game is called "Link's Awakening" for a reason... Is Link fighting the nightmare of his life as a hero? Although The Wind Fish had nightmares also, the monsters began to act up when Link washed in. Fortunately for Link, the future is bright!

Answer: Monster that looks like a bunny

The Monster with a cloak is called Stalfos. The one with a "sombrero" is a wizrobe. The water-spiders are tektites. The little bunny-hopper thing is a Pols Voice. Pols Voice are killed by throwing something at them. (Use the Harp of Ages in "Oracle of Ages." It works!) Because my game was a hand-me-down, I had no clue what either Pols Voice or Stalfos were! I finally figured it out when I realized "imprisoned" was the key word.

Answer: "Manbo's Mambo"

"Manbo's Mambo" is a delightful song. Link can receive it by swimming into a cave near Angler's Tunnel. The tune warps you to Manbo's pond, but it is easier associated with Crazy Tracy's. If Link buys Crazy Tracy's restoration potion, he practically doubles his health.

The tune can also warp him to the beginning of a dungeon if he needs a fast retreat. "Ballad of the Windfish" is a great song in this game, but it does not warp Link anywhere. "Ballad of the Windfish" makes an appearance in "Majora's Mask."

Link must trade the Yoshi doll, bow, dog food, bananas, stick, honeycomb, pineapple, hibiscus, letter, broom, fishhook, necklace, and the Mermaid's scale to get the Lens. The Magnifying Lens is needed to read the book in the library that gives directions for the Windfish's Egg. It also allows Link to get the boomerang. The Lens became the Lens of Truth in "Ocarina of Time."

Answer: Catfish's Maw

The reason is the hookshot. This item is required to retrieve the Lens from beneath the Mermaid Statue. Without the Lens, Link cannot read the book in the library or see the trader in the cave by the shore. The boomerang easily destroys the anti-fairies and other glowing enemies, often turning them into fairies.

In "Oracle of Ages" and "Oracle of Seasons" the boomerang was a much weaker weapon. You have to trade the item set to the "B" button for the boomerang.

Chicken "gliding" also carried over into "Ocarina of Time." The natives only remember one flying rooster, but Link can see two. Once Link enters Eagle's Tower, the rooster goes to live at the chicken coop. However, if Link leaves the tower before defeating its boss, the flying rooster is still there and will follow him down and visit the coop with Link. Both Link and the farmer have a rooster in the shack. :)

I know! Evilness! Who cares! My sister suggested this wretched, evil question because she had to start over, and over, and over. Ack! Moving bush! Moving Rock! Bam! "Try again from the start." Once you figure out this mess, the pond opens. Link will meet the singing frogs lead by Mamu--who is about to go on tour. Mamu tries his act out for Link, then hits the road. Did you recognize the singing frogs? The idea is used in both "Ocarina of Time" and "Majora's Mask."

Bow-Wow randomly eats enemies, and helps Link enter Bottle Grotto. Marin follows Link to Animal Village to wake the walrus. The annoying ghost begins haunting Link after Angler's Tunnel. Link must take the ghost to its old home, then to its grave. The flying rooster helps Link retrieve the key for Eagle's Tower.
