I don't know much about nuclear fission. Or any type of fission. But it does rhyme, and that's enough for me.
Then again, Wikipedia is giving me a lot of insight into radioactive decay, and I feel like this challenge here-- perhaps our biggest for Lounge Anniversary Month-- fits the bill of 'fission'.
One of the first events we had here in the Lounge around ten years ago was our very first Commission, and I remember it only having a handful of intrepid authors who trusted my idea to randomly 'force' people to write some crazy, new things. We've come a long way in ten years with nearly five dozen of these Commissions. It's become a staple of quiz authoring on the site. It has a badgelet, and very, very few activities in the Lounge provide for that. It's bread and butter.
To celebrate the Lounge, we would be fools not to celebrate the Commissions that built its framework way back when, so here in Commission Fission, we're looking for quizzes to fulfill the requirements of all of our past Commissions. The first post under this one has all the details about what exactly is required and, hopefully, we can find a way to complete all the requirements and submit them by the end of the month. There are a few choices that need a bit more legwork to get started just based on what they entail, but that can all be done here.
There are a few rules:
1) Commissions always require that another author submit your title and it be given to you randomly. That's not happening here. You're the one making your title to fulfill the challenge (unless the list below in Post #1 says otherwise).
2) The title(s) you create MUST fulfill the expectation of the Commission it comes from. For instance, the 'Not For Kids' Commission required that the quizzes NOT be sent to 'For Children'. Some are trickier than others!
3) You may claim one Commission at a time. If your quiz goes online, you may claim another.
4) Remember: We don't double-dip titles. If you create a title for any of these, it is not allowed to have been used in any other Commission. Rules are rules! The search bar can help figure this out and I'm happy to assist if that's out of the question.
So there we have it. Commission Fission. We're on a mission. ;)

How would you make that into two quiz titles? If the titles are to be anagrams of each other, the "Untidy" would have to pair with either "united" or "untied", and the "nudity" with the other of those two. If I add a third word, I get "Untidy United States" vs. "Untied Nudity Tastes" - the first could be Geography Wordplay and the second one about nudity in art, but it's still not really elegant. Kyle, I'd like to have a go at Commission 8 (Yours Truly). Just so I get this straight. The only condition for me is to ensure that the title starts with "Yours Truly", category doesn't matter. Hi Kyle Is it possible to rejig the opening section? At the moment it is a bit clumsy to work out which Commission is available, and then go to a different page to see what its title is.
