Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which popular brand of soft drink boasts 23 different flavors in its mixture?

Answer: Dr. Pepper

Many people believe that Dr. Pepper is affiliated with either Coca-Cola or Pepsi, but contrary to that belief, Dr. Pepper is its own company. Dr. Pepper's main bottling company is found in Texas, and as such, it is a popular drink choice for many Texans.
2. The Parker Brothers board game "Sorry!" has been a family favorite for many years. Which of the following is NOT a color of the pieces in the game?

Answer: Purple

"Sorry!" is comprised of four different colors: red, yellow, green, and blue. The object is to get all four pawns of your color from the start to your color's home space. The cards drawn move the pawns forward, but any time a player's pawn lands on a space occupied by another's pawn, the pawn that was landed on is sent back to start.

The "Sorry!" card allows the drawer to take on of his pieces from start and take a spot occupied by an opponent's pawn.

Answer: Dementors

There is only one basilisk seen in the series, in "The Chamber of Secrets." It was defeated by Harry Potter himself. Deatheaters are the followers of Lord Voldemort.

Michael Weatherly stars as Dr. Jason Bull, who leads Trial Analysis Corporation, his own company that uses Bull's psychology background to help sway juries to their side. Containing arguably one of the most underrated scores written by John Williams, "The Patriot," follows Benjamin Martin, a South Carolina farmer living during the early days of the Revolutionary War. After losing his wife and killing innocent French and Native American people during the French and Indian War, Martin, trying to make amends, refuses to fight the British.

8. The algebraic equation y = mx + b is the equation used in determining what?

Answer: Slope

When determining the slope of a line on a graph, m is the slope of the line, and b is where the line intersects the y-axis. If measuring the slope of a straight line, m would be 0. In that case, b would be the number on the y-axis that the line would be on.

Answer: Lasagna

Despite having a love for almost every kind of food, Garfield's favorite food is lasagna. He often attempts to convince Jon to make it for him, and when Jon decides to make something different, the consequences are hilarious.
