With only four teams left, everyone headed out from the east coast, and flew from Saint John, New Brunswick to Winnipeg, Manitoba in the middle of the nation. After their twenty-three hundred kilometre flight (via Toronto), they had to shuffle out of the airport and into a taxi that would take them ninety kilometres north to the town of Gimli, site of the famous Gimli Glider incident.

Here, if they could find the viking statue they could find the clue box.

Answer: Icelandic

The viking statue probably clued teams in a bit as, when they arrived in Gimli, Manitoba, they were required to complete a Road Block that alluded to a spelling bee. For this one, Liz, Sacha, Matteo, and Bec had to learn ten Icelandic words, each of which would be translated into English for them. With these words in their minds, they had to stand before a crowd of Gimli locals and receive one of the words, at random, to spell. If they could get it right, they'd get their next clue and head back into Winnipeg.

Answer: Michele and Matteo

Leading their taxis back to Winnipeg and the monument to hockey legend Dale Hawerchuk, racers could rip open their next clues to find the race's final Detour, a choice between 'Whirl' and 'Wind'. 'Whirl' sent teams to The Forks Market, where they needed to join local Métis dancers in performing the Red River Jig whereas in 'Wind', teams had to head to Portage & Main in the Winnipeg downtown core.

There, they would locate a historical plaque and, using the data on this, calculate the windchill for three historical moments in Canadian weather history. All teams completed 'Whirl' except for Michele and Matteo.

Answer: Pergola

After the Detour, teams had a gauntlet of Route Info tasks to complete, the first of which sent them to the indoor activity centre of Activate Winnipeg West. If they could complete a round of the Mega Grid video game challenge without losing their lives, they could receive their next clue.

Teams then had to proceed, by taxi, to Red River College Polytechnic Skilled Trades & Technology Center. Here, they needed to be handy. Using provided instructions, racers had to build a large timber-framed pergola to spec (and with its logos facing the proper directions) to get their last clue of the leg.

Answer: Sacha and Sébastien

The final task of the leg concluded with a clue that instructed teams to make their way to Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site. There, inside the walls of the fort in St. Andrews, Manitoba, racers could search for Jon and the final Pit Stop of the race. Tina and Liz managed to stay ahead throughout the leg and won their fourth of the race (and second in a row), this time taking the prize of an Expedia trip for two to Kyoto, Japan (along with $15,000 CAD spending money).

Despite being local to the city, Sacha and Sébastien suffered taxi troubles throughout the leg and were unable to pull out of the back of the pack from the Road Block. They were eliminated in this leg.

Answer: A ring

Early in the morning on the race's final day, teams cracked open clues on the riverside in Winnipeg, Manitoba and had to travel to the airport to fly to their final destination city: Calgary, Alberta. Once they landed, they could rush into a taxi and proceed to the Calgary Stampede Grandstand to find their next clue inside. There, in GMC Stadium, they would find the first of two Road Blocks in this last leg, and for this, one racer from each pair would have to strap in and take a zipline across the stadium. At the same time, they'd need to play a game of ring toss, dropping a ring onto a pole while in motion, to get their next clue.

Eamon, Tina, and Michele completed this task.

Answer: Cowboy hats

Leaving the Calgary Stampede, the teams' times in cowboy territory didn't end. Hopping into cabs they had to head to Inglewood to locate Smithbilt Hats Inc. and become delivery people for this century-old institution. Here, they had to sort and stack thirty custom hats into five different orders and then head-deliver them to different local businesses in the neighbourhood.

After this, teams took their taxis to McMahon Stadium on the University of Calgary grounds. There, one racer had to fire a t-shirt cannon while their partner stood across the field, catching it with a miniature goalpost. Bagging one would allow them to open their t-shirt, which would contain their next clue.

Answer: Drums

Teams completing their t-shirt field goal opened their shirt to find a Road Block clue inside, and this one was mandatory for the racer who did not complete the zipline challenge earlier in the leg. For this task, Matteo, Bec, and Liz made their way to the Macron Performance Centre, thirty kilometres across Calgary, where they had to join the Calgary Stampede Showband. Taking up a snare drum, they needed to learn the footwork for the drumline and perform in sync with the band to get their next clue.

Answer: Items from previous legs

Leaving the drumline behind, racers made their way to one last task waiting for them at Heritage Park Historical Village, and it would test their recall of all ten legs of the race. For this last memory challenge, racers were set up at a series of thirty posts, and if they could scour the grounds of this open air museum, they could find thirty distinct items that they handled over the course of the race. To get their final clue, they needed to get the approval of a judge, but that would only be done if they got all the right items and placed them all in the chronological order based on when they appeared in each leg.

Answer: Tina and Liz

Completing the final memory task at Heritage Park Historical Village allowed teams to rip open their final clue and proceed by taxi to the All Canada Ring at Spruce Meadows where they could find Jon and the finish line of the race. In the end it was twin sisters Tina and Liz who narrowly beat out Eamon and Bec (in second) and Michele and Matteo (in third) for the win, becoming "The Amazing Race Canada's" third all-female team to win the grand prize and the first Asian-Canadian winners of the show.

The two took a prize package from Expedia to plan a trip around the world and the $250,000 CAD grand prize.
