Answer: Hitler bacon

"Hitler bacon" is a type of fruit jam that Hungarian soldiers and civilians used to survive the war. It is a tough type of jam that was made like bricks and could be sliced and cooked like most foods. The Hungarians picked it as one of the few German foods they'd tolerate. The name apparently comes from the fact that it paralleled regular bacon, and thus was referred to as the emperor's bacon. The 'emperor,' of course, was Hitler. Note: Urinal hot drink is Romanian, Fresh cemen dip is Turkish, and Molotov cocktails are not edible.

"Kings Row", released in 1942, also starred Ann Sheridan and Robert Cummings and was directed by three-time 'Best Director' nominee Sam Wood. "Kings Row" was considered one of Reagan's best supporting roles; he had no legs for a portion of the movie. When "Kings Row" made it to the 15th Academy Awards in 1943, it took three nominations but lost them all. "Mrs. Miniver" took 'Best Picture'. Reagan would continue in cinema for another twenty years before taking the U.S. presidency for most of the 1980s.

Lady Jane was therefore proclaimed Queen on 10 July 1553, but after Mary entered London with her supporters, the Privy Council changed sides and Lady Jane was deposed before she was even crowned allowing Mary to become Mary I and reign for five years. Lady Jane was kept in the Tower of London and executed in February 1554 aged 17.

Considered one of the most famous sculptures of Ancient Greece, the Venus de Milo is thought to represent the goddess Aphrodite. Created sometime between 130-100 BC, this statue, which stands at 6 foot 8 inches, was lost for centuries until unearthed on the island of Milos in 1820. One wonders though that if, instead of a woman, a young male was the model for this work. Her face and body rather suggest that gender, particularly so the trunk. It doesn't curve in far enough at the waist and its almost as if she has ripples of muscles on her upper abdomen. The face, too, appears to be rather masculine in appearance. Damaged when she was found, with parts of both arms missing and a broken nose, that nose was the inspiration behind her choice for the official seal once used by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Particularly so for a "Before and After" effect.

The Poole Methodist Church was built in the late 1800s to replace an old chapel that had been constructed there one hundred years earlier. Made from Purbeck and Bath stone, it is of Gothic design, and features a soaring and impressive tower on its north-west side. The extension to this lovely building - which replaced a lovely old Georgian chapel - looks like a flat topped box, has no visual appeal at all, no recognisable architectural features, and is completely out of character with the rest of the church's design. It's quite horrible in fact, and it is not at all surprising that it took out the 2016 Carbuncle Cup, an architectural "award" handed out annually for "ugliest building in the United Kingdom completed in the last 12 months".
