Though not widely known, (probably because of his antics on "Mr Bean"!) Rowan Atkinson is a highly intelligent man with two degrees in electrical engineering. It was while he was earning these degrees that he met Richard Curtis and began writing and performing comedy revues.

The four are seen in slow-motion, charging into the smoke of no man's land; gunfire and explosions all around, before the scene fades into a sunny poppy field and the sound of birdsong. We never know the fate of the four.
