2. Which onomatopoeically-named Looney Tunes character, known for their bright yellow plumage and knack for outwitting the "puddy tat", was originally pink and named Orson?

Answer: Tweety Pie

Believe it or not, one of Looney Tunes' most well-loved and enduring characters had a completely different name and colour originally. Tweety Pie, who was originally called Orson, was also drawn pink and without feathers at first. However the naked, pink Tweety Bird drew criticism from audiences, which is what led to him becoming the yellow feathered canary associated with Sylvester, the "puddy tat".

He first appeared in the 1942 short film, "A Tale of Two Kitties", but by his second appearance he was a bright yellow canary named Tweety Pie.

Answer: Roller derby

Roller derby started on the US east coast, attracting a national fan base in the millions by the 1940s. Rigged matches similar to those in TV wrestling led to its decline. The sport began reviving around 2000 and is now played by "derby girls" worldwide.
