Answer: Dane Dorrance

After appearing in three editions of "Showcase" comic, from August - December 1969, the "Sea Devils" were made the stars of their own title, which ran for thirty five issues, until 1967.
Published by DC Comics, the "Sea Devils" were created by Robert Kanigher, who also wrote for the "Wonder Woman" comics for over twenty years.
2. DC Comic book character Aquaman was the King of Atlantis.

Answer: True

Aquaman was the son of an ordinary man and a mermaid. His mother had been cast out of Atlantis and met and fell in love with his lighthouse keeper father.
Eventually, Aquaman was acknowledged as a citizen of Atlantis (being his mother's son) and was elected King when the previous ruler died without an heir.
The character made his first comic book appearance in 1941, in "More Fun Comics" issue 73, and was also a founder member character of the "Justice League of America" in 1960.
His real name is Arthur Curry.

A sequel to "Seaguy", entitled "Seaguy: Slaves of Mickey Eye" was published in 2009, and both comics were written and drawn by Grant Morrison and Cameron Stewart.

The swashbuckling story mainly takes place during World War I. It follows the adventures of the half English, half Spanish Corto Maltese from when he is rescued by a Russian pirate named Rasputin after being adrift in the Pacific.
The story was written by award-winning Italian comic book creator Hugo Pratt, and when released in book form in 1976, it won the "Best foreign realistic comic album" award at the Angouleme International Comics Festival, the largest comic festival in Europe.

It was 1954 when Godzilla made his very first comic book appearance. It was published as a tie-in with the original "Godzilla" film, also released in 1954, and directed by Ishiro Honda.
Almost all the Godzilla films made from that original up to "Godzilla 2000" were also turned into manga comic books, and the franchise has remained popular on into the 21st century.

Sora and Umi are the mysterious children of the sea, and Ruka is the daughter of a scientist who is studying them. She too feels the connection with the sea that they have. Besides the story of the boys, there is also the puzzle of disappearing sea life around the world, and as the series progresses, a connection is revealed between the two mysteries.
The first volume of the serial was released in 2007 by Daisuke Igarashi, who has received several awards for the series, including the 2009 Excellence Prize from the Japan Media Arts Awards.
